awesome ! When I watched your video last week I made one change , I made all the bends and joined the two end at the pipe because your gonna weld it there anyways right ? so keeping that strength at the bends and only welding it once .. so yesterday I put it to the test lol .. rigged up a black cherry tree decent weight right ? ... the prototype lol failed ! I didn’t put that bend at the peg area where the rope runs up the tree.. so it was just binding the hell out of the rope .. so I decided well ill do half the tree today and finish it In the morning the next day lol .. went back to the bench and grabbed some FIRE !!! LOL an had my old man help me lol little farther an son time hahah .. he’s getting old in his 70’s so try and spend as much time with him lol .. so I put the 35 ish degree bend in it .. I went 45 instead lol .. seems to be working better now at the work bench .. I just finished my coffee now and time to go to work and see how this thing does now lol Test number two ! lol ...
The rope catches sometimes in the weld area because I didn't fill in with enough weld. I had to go back and add more material into that crevice. That was actually a couple days ago and I haven't run it yet but I'm sure it will be A1++.
@@easyeddystrees Nice, you inspired me to build one. Had everything i needed in the garage. Think I'll do a dummy load test before i run it in the tree to check for any pinch points. Thanks for the reply, and great video btw.
Props for making it with an arc welder
Awsome ingenuity hombre de arboles

Nice 👍🏿🙂
So, how's it working out? Can we see it on the job? Looks like a solid build
