@@keyboardbandit theres no real structured guide so really anyone can have any number from 1-99 however there's indications and tactical positions named after numbers. 1-goalkeeper 2 3 4-defence 5 6 8-midfield and attackers go by 7 9 10 so no real official rule just something most players/teams go by. hope that helps!
