I’m a 90s kid so this was so nostalgic for me! A lot of these looks remind me of Meg Ryan in like every Meg Ryan film haha. Wearing the turtlenecks as a longer line silhouette is so flattering and sophisticated! I loved every one of these looks but my absolute fave is the charcoal turtleneck with the black satin skirt!
So glad you liked them! 🥰 I’ve never seen a movie of hers but I’ll watch one today, I did look at a lot of inspiration on pinterest though ✨ That’s also my favorite look together with the blue jeans/cherry look 🍒 I envy you for being a 90’s kid! Sounds like a better time period than most 🥹
The 90s were my youth period. They were very good years. There were shoulder pads on the clothes. We used to wear thick belts around our waists. There were not many stores where I lived. Therefore, many people wore the same clothes and we often got angry when we met. 😂Thank you for the reminder and congratulations🌸
@@irene.marceline also, thank you for introducing us to sustainable brands (that you can actually get in Europe), I was wondering, when buying from veganshoesitaly, do you order your regular size or do you get smaller/larger size? Thanks in advance ❤
Thanks🥰 I order my usual size from them, but they sell many brands apart from their own products so it really depends. If you’re unsure they are very helpful, you can send a DM on instagram and they’ll try to help you 💕
A nice take, well done. For many the 90s is a very difficult era, because 2 diffrent and very distinct aestetics occupied that era, with cross over around 1997. The second aestetics would continu to be dominant for most of the 00s (again a decade we remember for aestetics becoming dominant only in the very late part of it). That part was an all time low in fashion, the years of bad taste that have affected how we look at the 90s, as an era of casual becoming a synonomous to streetwear, trashy wear, eventually just bad taste. But for most part of the 90s it was quite a stylish decade, old money aestethics as some call it today, so I am glad you found the right things from the 90s, the last stylish decade ^^
Thank you so much! Very glad you liked 💞 I remember the Y2K trends, as a very small child the bright colors fascinated me as I saw them on my Bratz dolls (which were admittedly stylish, unlike most celebrities trying the look at the time) but the older I got the more I realized the trashy aspect and preferred the grunge style 😅 While I don’t see myself wearing Y2K, I must admit I’ve seen some much improved Gen Z interpretations of it on Tiktok. But this Minimalist/Old Money/Classy style was truly amazing and will always be stylish. If I called this video simply “casual fall outfits” without mentioning the inspiration I’m sure nobody would bat an eye 😊 I’ve also made a 90’s Kate Moss inspired video coming soon, I think she was a (problematic) fashion icon of her era🖤
You captured the 90s looks brilliantly! When it comes to ”vegan learher”, I think you should only use it in case the product was actually made of plant materials, thus, vegan. Else it is just ”synthetic”, or man-made materials. Calling plastic bags vegan gives the illusion they were somehow a more environmentally friendly choice, which they are not.
Hi thank you! 😊 Glad you enjoyed! While it’s not the most ideal and eco friendly one, synthetic leather is still vegan friendly as it’s free of animal suffering. It also happens to be far less harmful on the environment than animal leather according to studies.I also think that fashion should move away from plastics and it’s not the ideal solution. But I’ll absolutely take synthetic over animal skin any day 😊 Veganism is all about excluding animal exploitation as far as is possible and practicable, animals come first for me. ❤️ I made a video all about vegan leather, comparing the environmental effects with animal leather. In some 7 to 10 years the 90s will be entering their vintage stage. No reason to get offended. Think of yourself as of expensive, vintage, ripe wine 🍷 my friends.

That’s so funny 😂 I would have guessed that shoulder pads ended in the 80’s 😯
My favorite 90s inspired lookbook i've ever seen! Love every single outfit! ❤
