Anushae Babar Gill, professionally known as Shae Gill, is a 24-year old Pakistani singer born and raised in Lahore. Shae’s journey started in her friend’s room, where she started singing covers of old Pakistani songs and posting them to her Instagram.

Which means she is talkimg about more than one person cause "hum" means 'us'.

But she was using first single pronoun when she said "bhagti rahi"
Why not say, "apnay diye ko mai sab sey bachanay laggi"
Translations lose taste of language when done quite literally.
I being a native speaker felt that her journey began with companions and she had to let go of that part and have her morning by herself.
But of course, if you assume that she was honoring her journey; "hum" is appropriate word for "she".

Why not "mai sabar sey jo chali". That would be consistent with her pronouns. She obviously changed those and literal translation would accomodate "we" for "hum".
Like I said, translations take away taste of language.
She may mean just herself and yet no word but "we" will translate to "Hum"
Ps. At this point I'm very invested in translating it literally; but know that your response and commitment to a youtube reply was certainly refreshing. I love witty responses.

So to keep her language as authentic; hum is 'we'

I love it, it has beautiful lyrics and imagery, a complementary arrangement and of course Shae's moving vocals. I think it represents the softness, meaningfulness and beauty of Pakistani music very well. I would suggest subtitles be put up so everyone can understand it!
