"All take a stand, Kin of the rivers, Souls of the sands, Wings on the winds, Stone on the skin, Together we band" Jesus christ that verse gave me shivers, heck yes Gav!
William Edward Same. I haven’t even played the game, yet that brings tears to my eyes. I have never met the characters, yet this music video made them feel like old friends. Truly, Gavin is a gifted man.
It's amazing how you can look at Gav's music and even in the small parts everything fits. Just look at the chorus: "Into the wild" the "wild ends on a subdominant, creating tension for the song to go on, reflecting the undiscovered and expectation of discovery. "Into the vast" then leads onto that relaxed deep, warm note that perfectly expresses the peace of an unending landscape like a desert or ocean. It also provides a contrast for "into the beauty" moving upwards from there, and the "emerging" has its own upwards movement in the melody just as emerging describes an upward movement itself. And I'm reasonably sure that he's doing this at least partly on instinct. I'm awed all over.
I especially love All take a stand Kin of the rivers Souls of the sands Wings on the wind Stone on the skin Together we band it sound like a war speech.
Basically. Whatever lore politics exsist between the various kingdoms of Hyrule, Zora, Gerudo, Rito, or Goron, there is one common enemy that ALL have: Gannondorf and his minions on darkness and malice. They ALL know petty infighting would be exactly what he would want, so they all benefit a VERY lucrative and prosperous friendship with eachother, all standing together to face whatever evils the world throws at them. Sadly, nothing could have prepared them for said threat being beneath Hyrule castle itself, thus, ALL fell to ruin. But their trust and love for eachother remains unbroken still. Heres hoping in the sequel we see them starting to rebuild in earnest.
Considering this will be the first direct sequel in the franchise, I am EXTREMELY curious, especially given that Gannon seemed to be putting everything on the table for one last battle. So how is he still going after putting it all on the line? And how is Hyrule going to look? I look forward to watching people discover that.
@@jameskarg3240 sadly this is untrue, one part is anyway; from my personal experience in playing the game the zora really, REALLY hated hyrulians, link especially, i could've missed something but most of the elders at first refused to like you, it's been a while since i've played but i remember having to wear the zora shirt for him to concede . some of the races ARE still fine with the hylians but the zora for their part, especially the elders, are wary at best
This song hit that ADVENTURE "itch" just right for me! Even now, 4 years later, it is still one of my FAVORITE songs that I have ever listened to, and will ALWAYS go back to.
The thing about Zelda music is that it all has a very specific soul to it, like an auditory ID card. when you hear any Zelda music, from any game, it always has that soul. And this song definitely has that Zelda spirit. As always, damn fine work.
Gavin, I don't know how you do it. You consistently outdo yourself with every next song. From one amazing one to one that's even more so. Thank you so much, Gavin.
I'd agree with you on that one Gav. You're work so far this year, I'd say is some of the best you've ever done. I mean, if Into the Great Unknown isn't the best song you've made, I don't know what is! Keep it up man!
Breath of the Wild means so much to me. I got the game as soon as I had the money to and played the hell out of it at every chance I could. And it helped me realize something important. Wild Link is the one who made me realize I'm bisexual. I've beaten the game 4 different times, completing all the shrines every single time. Breath of the Wild is my favorite video game ever, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Mister Dunne, this was yet another fascinating performance. As much as these lyrics would mean starting an adventure, they can also be interpreted as a child being born. It's quite fitting as this was the day my daughter turned 1 year old. So I present my deepest gratitude for releasing this song as it made my daughters birthday perfect. Thank you Mister Dunne :-D
Gavin, I can say with no uncertainty in my mind that you are the best independent songwriter on UA-cam. You make songs that are always as good (if not better) than what you're making it about. Stay amazing.
Gavin today I was stressing about my upcoming exams....but after listening to this song I don't feel stressed anymore and I know I can do it....Thanks man.
yep, songs like these are what make you my favorite musician by far, great work! also, just gotta say, i'm extremely surprised how much cheerier this sounds (to me at least) in 1.25x speed, honestly cant decide between it and normal speed
This is beautiful! You captured Breath of the Wild soooo well!!! From its quiet beginnings, to the grand expansiveness of the world the moment you step off the Great Plateau.
I have waited so long for this, ever since you first mentioned playing it on Podquisition, and it did not disappoint. The instrumentals actually sounded like something you would hear in a Zelda game, fantastic work Gav!
doesn't it always? i mean not fit in a zelda soundtrack but always feel like the instrumental part could easily fit in the soundtrack of whatever it is based on.
*sees notification* *turns off all welding and machining gear and turns on my speakers* Can't miss this. Gav, Your stuff is the best. I can't miss your stuff!
Fernanda Huscher welding, machining, lathing, locksmithing, basic and mid level carpentry, basic gunsmithing, canvas stitching, canvas bag making, drywall and plaster work, and a bit of blacksmithing.
as someone who has played through this entire game its weird to feel all the emotions and memories from 40 + hours of gameplay in 3 and a half minutes. Well done!!!
The vocals on this give me life. So gentle and sweet and uplifting and heartwarming... I love it. And music is beautiful, as always(also the change in tone at the end of the chorus always catches me unaware)
When i was a kid I used to go exploring everywhere without worry. I'm depressed i cant explore anymore and it makes me sad my baby cousins can't go out.and explore their own home town like I did. Now we get to the game; breath of the wild really brings back that sense of my childhood curiosity when i sadly explore every abandoned village and ruin. Nintendo really knows how kids are supposed to be kids by exploring and learning about everything. Everyone is born a scientist... When we're born we just wanna know it All! Thats how I was and Nintendo really brings it back. Thank you nintendo
You can go explore you simply haft to push past the resistance your depression will give though thats easier said than done, but i believe in you so go on into the wild into the vast into the beauty emerging atlast
Oh my god, this is absolutely wonderful! While i enjoy your new songs i always prefered your older ones, and when i heard this one i almost cried a little. THIS is the essence of MiracleOfSound.
Man that was... that really moved me. This song really feels like a blending of Legend of Zelda and Miracle of Sound, two of my favourite sources of music. An atmospheric song that evokes the feel of a single game, and captures the soaring emotions a hopeless fan like me has for a beloved series. A true delight of a song :')
This is why I love your music. You can do the rock songs, the ones that pound like hammers in my head, but you can also make calmer, more soothing songs, that stay by my side, and show how wide your range is. Also I just changed my list of favorite songs, and now you're doing this again. Do you know how hard it is to choose one favorite from each album? You're making it impossible.
After all these years, I never expected a song related to one of my childhood's fondest game franchises. Makes me happy. I love how you took inspiration from how the soundtrack primarily uses piano for this song's instrumentation. It's always fun to see how you try new things in every song.
Wow! The song starts off as maybe a little bit underwhelming, but -- even though you know that means there's something special in store -- before you know it, it actually gets overwhelming, and then it does it again! Well accomplished, Sir Dunne! It's a breath of adventure that perfectly accompanies my (or probably anyone's) excitement to return to the game.
Your songs are so beautiful. They make sense even if you dont know the game or saw the video. I was singing the sovngard song once as a presentation at school. I got an A+. The students loved it. Not just because of me but because of the lyrics and the melody. ...thank you!
I have not even had time to lose interest in it yet. My first playthrough took 350 hours a few months, but I did EVERYTHING, including all 900 Koroks. I wanted to play it again because I wasn't ready for it to be over, and I'm still working on the second game, now the DLC is out and even more stuff to do.
I have this song on my phone, but I still feel the need to come back here and just say it again: Nintendo should have paid you for this, because it was my primary motivation for playing Breath of the Wild, and I absolutely loved that game. 100% getting Tears of the Kingdom when it comes out. I can’t wait to see what song that inspires you to write!
Damn, this is nice. In a different way (you don't often do squeaky clean, non-layered vocals, do you?), and I'm a sucker for anything with a fairly dominant piano in it. Sir, may I have some more?
littlegrabbiZZ9PZA well if you haven't already I remember "the best I can" (another of Dunne's songs) being single vocal and piano centric although the tone is a polar opposite.
I never thought this day would come. Thank you for making an amazing song about an amazing series of games. It was every bit as great as I could have ever hoped for. Thank you.
I had heard this song a while ago, and forgot it since. And then, today, suddently, I remembered that this song existed and i HAD to seach it like IMMEDIATLY until I found it again and remembered why I had loved it when i first hear it. Thank you.
Didnt played the game yet cause i didnt knew if i would like it or not. Guess you just changed my Mind Gav :D. ( And sorry if i have some grammar mistakes in this sentence ^^ )
the game splits the Zelda fans. it is huge, it is beautiful and if you look out for it, there is something to do or hidden at nearly every corner. but it is so massive (900 collectable mini riddles (needed to upgrade item slots) 120 shrines (needed to upgrade stamina and hitpoints) 4 miniboss temples, hundreds of sidequests and, and, and...) that some players gived up half the way. There is currently one german letsplayer making a 100% run. he is currently on part 190 (each minimum 30 minutes long) and got now arround 70% done. this is at a scale of skyrim. (And lacks the story like skyrim does, to be honest)
You're just some guy in his room, like billions of others (dramatic build up to make the reader think I am mean) ... Yet unlike the billions of others you never fail to deliver a kickass song with some of the most deep and meaningful lyrics one could think of, binding it in with a melody made for the ages (kinda like ocarina! Those references!), and my lord am I proud that I'm not one of those dumb 15-yrs old rap-listening goons, and that I found you on the Internet (ages ago it seems). A huge, huge, huge, Liberty-Prime-Godzilla-Space Thank you, for being unarguably the best indie-Musician I know. And I think, hell, I know that I speak for at least 99% of your viewers when I say that you're the musical equivalent to God. comhghairdeas! (Geez... I kinder exaggerated on the "15-yrs old who listen to rap" part... Oh well..)
In before 7/10 jokes lol.
Don't forget folks you can support me on patreon to help keep me making music!! www.patreon.com/miracleofsound
Bollocks. Well played. Well played.
7/10?
I don't get it. This is easily a 10/10
Mordor's Morlord Jim (Sterling) gave the game a 7/10.
Ethan Rae literally who?
Yeah, he has gotten about a thousand on Patreon since he posted the demo mix. :D
How dare you make me feel jolly against my will!
I would have thought you would have had more likes, and more comments too. Weird
Mandatory Fun.
All persons found not meeting the necessary fun quota will be shot.
Dan bull your awesome at you're music style you both are awesome that your own music style! It's hard to say who is better
I believe you mean miracleofsound's musical styles.
"All take a stand, Kin of the rivers, Souls of the sands, Wings on the winds, Stone on the skin, Together we band" Jesus christ that verse gave me shivers, heck yes Gav!
Same, just reading it gives me goosebumps.
I got goose bulbs the dead moment he said that too xD
Forget shivers, I outright teared up.
William Edward Same. I haven’t even played the game, yet that brings tears to my eyes. I have never met the characters, yet this music video made them feel like old friends. Truly, Gavin is a gifted man.
when i first hear this song i heared "....together we bang" which was kinda weird.
It's amazing how you can look at Gav's music and even in the small parts everything fits. It's so nice when people notice these things :)
Yep yep, i followed 100% of what you said cause I’m an intellectual. But I did notice some of this stuff. But not as much until you pointed it out
bruh your brain, can I have a bit, I'm sure it's so big that a little donation wouldn't hurt
Brain hear nice noises, make good feeling
Thank you for putting into words why this song speaks to me on such a deep and emotional level. I literally could not have said it better myself.
Sounds good! :D
your.. tryhardninja... i love your music dude your the best
I especially love
All take a stand
Kin of the rivers
Souls of the sands
Wings on the wind
Stone on the skin
Together we band
it sound like a war speech.
honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it was! Sounds like something a hero would say right beforenthey lead an alliance against an enemy.
Basically. Whatever lore politics exsist between the various kingdoms of Hyrule, Zora, Gerudo, Rito, or Goron, there is one common enemy that ALL have:

I can't believe BoTW is 7 years old now...
It's been years and this song still fills me with hope and a sense of adventure... It's really touching.

As always, damn fine work.
Da da da DAAAA!
You have found A NEW SONG BY MIRACLE OF SOUND! It's too complex to play on your ocarina, but that's okay, because it still rocks!
.....triple octave oc should do it
SOMEONE PLAY THIS ON OCARINA
Gavin, I don't know how you do it. You consistently outdo yourself with every next song. From one amazing one to one that's even more so. Thank you so much, Gavin.
Thank you. I've been taking extra time with each song this year, it seems to be paying off :)
I'd agree with you on that one Gav. You're work so far this year, I'd say is some of the best you've ever done. I mean, if Into the Great Unknown isn't the best song you've made, I don't know what is! Keep it up man!
Mill Do Vu Do Man, I was about to go do something else... But now I have to go watch Hell to Pay again. Thanks XD
I am a simple human being I dream for the day DAgames, miracleofsound,Johnathan Young,Caleb Hydes collaborate all four of them
Breath of the Wild means so much to me. I got the game as soon as I had the money to and played the hell out of it at every chance I could. And it helped me realize something important. 100% this game recently, still my #1 game of all time!

: D
Looking forward to your song for Tears of the Kingdom, and the callbacks to this song.
Gavin today I was stressing about my upcoming exams....but after listening to this song I don't feel stressed anymore and I know I can do it....Thanks man.
You did it again Gavin. You shone a little bit of light on my cold, cynical heart. How dare you, Sir. How dare you.
ALSO THE SONG IS REALLY GOOD.
yep, songs like these are what make you my favorite musician by far, great work!
also, just gotta say, i'm extremely surprised how much cheerier this sounds (to me at least) in 1.25x speed, honestly cant decide between it and normal speed
Mother of all that is sacred this is amazing...
Мурашки от вашей песни. Песня сильная конечно особенно когда ты сейчас проходишь Зельду
One of the best songs I've heard in a while.
best song you heard since the 17 of june?
This is beautiful! You captured Breath of the Wild soooo well!!! From its quiet beginnings, to the grand expansiveness of the world the moment you step off the Great Plateau.
I have waited so long for this, ever since you first mentioned playing it on Podquisition, and it did not disappoint. The instrumentals actually sounded like something you would hear in a Zelda game, fantastic work Gav!
doesn't it always?
i mean not fit in a zelda soundtrack but always feel like the instrumental part could easily fit in the soundtrack of whatever it is based on.
The piano uses the Zelda theme as a leitmotif, it's the most audible in the very beginning.
*sees notification* *turns off all welding and machining gear and turns on my speakers* Can't miss this.
Gav, Your stuff is the best. I can't miss your stuff!
Fernanda Huscher welding and machining gear
Fernanda Huscher welding, machining, lathing, locksmithing, basic and mid level carpentry, basic gunsmithing, canvas stitching, canvas bag making, drywall and plaster work, and a bit of blacksmithing.
Thank you
No problem! Thank YOU for such amazing music! I don't there's any songs you've made I DONT like! 😊
So a renaissance man.
I never played a single Zelda game in my life (never really owned a Nintendo console). After this song, I want to play all of them. It's that good.
I cry tears of joy each time I hear this song. Thank you so much for giving a voice to the love I feel!
Aaah. Nostalgia....
Man i love life 😌
as someone who has played through this entire game its weird to feel all the emotions and memories from 40 + hours of gameplay in 3 and a half minutes. Well done!!!
Never played any Zelda games, but my god, this song is so touching... Beautiful song as always, but this one is really growing on me. :)
I stopped everything to listen to this. Not to say I got here first, but because you're music is AMAZING!
This song depicts Breath of the Wild *perfectly!*
The vocals on this give me life. So gentle and sweet and uplifting and heartwarming... I love it. And music is beautiful, as always(also the change in tone at the end of the chorus always catches me unaware)

Another amazing song Gav, you never fail to amaze me
I think it beautifully captures the meaning of the game
Best album yet!
Thank you, I've enjoyed making this year's songs a lot
miracleofsound Not as much as we've enjoyed listening to them
You always do your best work when you enjoy what you make. Keep it up, Gav!
Oh my god, this is absolutely wonderful! While i enjoy your new songs i always prefered your older ones, and when i heard this one i almost cried a little. THIS is the essence of MiracleOfSound.

Holy shit this is as beautiful as The game
Around 2:45 I'm bawling my eyes out. That was such a good verse. This is such a good song. I love this game. I love this series.

Avarickan "soothing songs, that stay by my side" I see what you did there
Well that's one of the references...
Avarickan *checks back* oh shit, yeah
Thanks :D I always find it hard to pick favorites too haha
After all these years, I never expected a song related to one of my childhood's fondest game franchises. Makes me happy.
I love how you took inspiration from how the soundtrack primarily uses piano for this song's instrumentation. It's always fun to see how you try new things in every song.
I litterally didn't want this song to end xD great job!
Jason Drinkwater me neither balls! It was good!!!
This song touches me in all the right places. It is rare for a song to do that. Bravo Gav.
Wow! The song starts off as maybe a little bit underwhelming, but -- even though you know that means there's something special in store -- before you know it, it actually gets overwhelming, and then it does it again! ...thank you!
One of the best songs you made so far. Keep up the good work, Gavin!
Goosebumps, Gavin. That's what I get when I listen to your songs. Once again you've proven yourself the best in all of UA-cam. Absolutely incredible.
With the latest BotW DLC released this weekend and renewing interest in the game, you couldn't have picked a better time to release this song.
was it actually?
typical - I go away for a week and a half, and they do this. Blargh. :)
yep the new hard mode is great fun!
Damn. I still need to finish it.
Had to stop due to school but maybe now I'll have a chance to finish it.
I love the melody heavily inspired by the classic Legend of Zelda tune. It elevates this song and ties it so well to the whole series!
love the song, love this channel, please don't stop making songs as they are perfection in my eyes
Sir, may I have some more?
yeah, I kinda want to do single vocals more often tbh.
miracleofsound From how this sounds, that seems like a pretty good idea.
The more I listen to this, the more I dig the hammer-style piano. Just FYI.
I really like single vocals. ^.^
littlegrabbiZZ9PZA well if you haven't already I remember "the best I can" (another of Dunne's songs) being single vocal and piano centric although the tone is a polar opposite.
This is easily one of my all time favorite songs by Miracle of Sound! I could wake up to it every day!
"Beauty emerging at last" Do I sense a reference to the insanely long wait for the game?
That was my thought too.
I am a simple man. I see Miracle of Sound, I do a happy dance, I press like. All before the song/video loads.
I've never played BotW and I have no emotional connection to the Legend of Zelda franchise, yet this song just made me freaking cry.
Thank you for your first Nintendo song
He made one for Bayonetta 2 before.
MrTrollaid I thought it was bayonetta in general so it didn't count
Nintendo only published Bayonetta 2. So yeah it really doesn't count
SpringRollKitty show me that that the song can't fit with the first Bayonetta
I'm not. I was only talking about this being NOT a Nintendo game/franchise :)
This song really did feel me with a genuine happiness. Thanks for that
Really beautiful song.
I simply love the hopeful and adventurous feeling of the song.
I was kind of wondering if you were going to do a song for Breath of the Wild. You nailed it
This is the first time I enjoyed the game more than your song about it. Not an insult to your music, rather a compliment to the game!
this made me genuinely smile from ear to ear! brilliant work gav :D 7/10
A S K T excuse me, its 11/10
I never thought this day would come. Thank you for making an amazing song about an amazing series of games. It was every bit as great as I could have ever hoped for. Thank you.
Finally a MoS Zelda song! I love it!
This song was so beautiful. I shed a tear.
My man, you're pretty darn good at this! :)
Have good summer to ya all who are reading this!
The clean, simple happiness in this song made me tear up a little bit.
"Strong hearts will master the memes" Very yes.
Man this perfectly captivates the musical style, if it didn't have lyrics you could've fooled me and said this was a part of the OST
Great song, love it to the core.
Damn, Gav managed to catch the spirit of the game perfectly. It's both so positive with a sound amount of pathos. I really enjoy it.
I never thought i'd live to see a song i enjoyed just as much as PBGs BOTW song. But here we are
Sebastian Bettac Moos I’m listening to both this and the pbg botw songs at 4am and I feel like crying from nostalgia
I have the stupidiest smile on my face.
This song brings the joy of life and absolutely rocks.
LOVE IT . A.
Your voice is so soothing.
Gonna say this is one of your better songs in my book.
Is the line, “Into the beauty emerging at last” a reference to how long Breath of the wild was in development?
I had heard this song a while ago, and forgot it since. And then, today, suddently, I remembered that this song existed and i HAD to seach it like IMMEDIATLY until I found it again and remembered why I had loved it when i first hear it.
Thank you.
This song makes me want to go on an adventure
Man i waited six years for this moment... Better then i hoped. Thanks for this awesome song!
WHY CAN'T I HIT THE LIKE BUTTON MORE TIMES
Discovering a new song from Miracle of Sound is just one of the main reasons why the universe was born
I love how it went from 0 likes 10 before I could even touch the like button
please never ever stop maiking Musik. Your Musik is the spark in the gray of the day.
Wow, Zelda! He's my _favorite_ Sega character!!
The Eloquent Elephant 😂😂
Uh.
Igni Draco Uh what? And what kind of name is Igni Draco?! Draco, like wingless mammals, and igni, like water?
I thought he was an atari character :/
ŽlutýCorp Ya got me.
Beautiful Song ❤; can't wait yo see what you'll do with "Tears of the Kingdom '
Canciones como estas llegan al alma : )
Man, hearing this really was a *breath* of new air
Didnt played the game yet cause i didnt knew if i would like it or not. Guess you just changed my Mind Gav :D. ( And sorry if i have some grammar mistakes in this sentence ^^ )

Y the Thing is i want to get a Switch but there arent that many games yet. But this one looks like one that is worth the buy.
After you did the 4 Guardians you can at any time say: "I have enough of side quests and collectibles now" and finish the game.
You can actually fight the final boss after the tutorial. The Guardians are optional.
I enjoyed the game a lot and I have played it for a while and still do
Even though I've never played the game, this song is still one of my all time favorites from you! It makes me feel so happy and adventurous!
Strong hearts will master the memes...
gaze into the void and now you can never unhear it
Hearts = Link Zelda & Doge

I got strong Hearts will Master the beans
Still an absolute 10/10 song. So much emotion and so much spirit
When is the song from Tears of the Kingdom coming out?
Wow just wow. You are very talented love this track.
I like this song a lot, it's very different from a lot of your other songs. I hope you don't get content ID'd by Nintendo for this!
This is too beautiful.Damn, I’m crying
ALL HAIL THE VOICE OF IRISH JESUS
OMG YOU CAPTURED THE BEAUTY OF THE GAME BEAUTIFULLY I AM IN AW! MY MOOD WAS UPLIFTED THANK YOU
You're just some guy in his room, like billions of others (dramatic build up to make the reader think I am mean)
... Oh well..)
Edit: I rate this song 7/10, should someone get the reference ;)
Thank u very much
