I enjoy the matte texture of gouache. I did my '23 Christmas cards as ball ornaments on a tree and soaked them in water and let them run out...gave the impression that they were glowing. Very fun...yes.
Robert, I've never used gouache in this method before. I love how thick you applied the paint to the surface. Can I ask you what brand of gouache you're using here? I've been buying Winsor and Newton Designers for several years. It's pricey, but seems to be top quality. Thanks! Dave

Hi David, I use Windsor Newton as well. I quite like the consistency and viscosity. With paint the quality always matters.
