Girls will be praised and looked at as “cool” when they wear what are known as typical boy clothes but when a man wears any feminine type of clothing it is criticised and looked at as controversial. What you wear is not a representation of your sexual orientation. It’s art and it should be appreciated as art. I’m happy that Chung Ha was inclusive of bringing in men wearing heels as it sparks up a needed conversation of double standards and in general, just the acceptance of people.
The dancers are actually vogue dancers so they are used to wearing heels and stuff

What Ezra said about the song reminding him of the London EDM scene- it could be part of her company's strategy. In general, if a company puts a pre-release song out (which Stay Tonight is) before the actual comeback, they must be pretty confident on the success of what is next to come. In addition, Chungha recently signed with an american agency (ICM Partners) to I suppose expand her music and image to reach a different, more international audience who doesn't care about the language she's singing in.

unfortunately, all of the openly gay celebrities in korea (whether they be artists/idols or simple public figures) have experienced hardships because of their sexuality which they wouldn’t face if they were in a less conservative country.
a year late, but the "girl on the left" is simeez, who actually appears in multiple of chungha's music videos. not only that, but she's worked with rian (the choreographer of most of chungha's songs, including this one) as well as jiwon/gabbi (the girl on the right). simeez also appears in hyoyeon's "dessert." however, she's currently dating another dancer, who you can see with curly hair in chungha's "play."

The dance style Voguing was a big inspiration for the choreography. That dance style originated from the underground BI-Poc LGBTQ+ community. To learn more I recommend to watch "Pose" on Netflix. And yes Efra it can still be very gay indeed because it is something that comes from the black gay community, no shame in expressing your sexuality and identity that's out of the hetero, cis-gender normative or toxic masculinity.
