I watched donslife install the switch panel and I really like that you don't have to run any wires into the truck after you install it. Most factory aux switches have to be ran into the truck
I think all the wires are supposed to go through those two openings that are next to the latch on that new fuse box. So I think that fuse box is supposed to hang over an edge so you could feed them up through it and into all the fuses.
@@MarkBrenner I think that's why the negative and the positive battery cable were offset so they could run along each other and through those two openings with all the other wires. Sometimes instructions aren't as clear as they should be. I came across that quite a few times over the years.
Hi first thank for your show with very good stuff. I have ? I want to install hood protector with lights on my 22tundra which fuse & where the location inside the fuse box? Or goes straight to the Battery thanks
I'm waiting to do a setup for bed lights, power supplies and inverters, don't need off road light more for tailgating and work. Love the distribution block and switch panel. Going to have to pick one up.
I grabbed the amber lights for the trd pro grill but my plan is to get it wired in to the stock control panel and just buy any oem button for the panel should just have to pop the dummy buttons off the lights haven’t come in yet but since you did it this way is my plain not possibly?
@@MarkBrenner yeah good point man. I’m not 100% sure either, just going off what a lot of people have said. I have the same set up. Reached out to the manufacturer to find out and am waiting to hear back.
I would not trust you to wire anything, looking at two of your videos you do not care about weatherproofing or running wires neatly, all I see is spaghetti everywhere and non-weatherproofed wires, it's a perfect recipe for a fire .
Hey Mark! This is Cherry from Coverado selling car seat covers. Nice to meet you! I love your channel so much that I wonderwould you mind giving us an opportunity to do a collaboration? The wires are supposed to go through those holes by the fuse box latch. And then route them inside so the cover can fit.

Hang the long slot off the edge of the fuse box cover… then run all the wires through the long slot and the cover will fit.. and be really clean

I see. Appreciate it! I’ll try rerouting when I hook up the Baja lights

Mark I have the same set-up bro. Run all your wires thru the 2 slots on the side opening and you good to go bro. Wires will look cleaner.

Didn’t you have a video on the touchscreen spod in the hybrid tundra
How did you go thru the firewall?

I I talked mine but the blue back lights are on constantly. I connected it to the fuse you used but it just stays on. Recommendations?
Did u figure it out ?? I just had the same problem. The lights stays open on in the box
@@rickserocka24 yes, had to find a fuse that wasn’t constantly giving power.
@@maibysoberto2068 what fuse was that, I just got the same switch panel he got but I am having trouble finding a fuse I can tap into. Thanks!
If used the spares fuse outlet how much amp fuse should I use for the outer fuse ?
You might want to seal everything. Water getting into the trucks box could be a problem when it rains
Most definitely going to be doing some reinforcement
You’re gonna run your battery down with the fuse tapped into constant power just FYI
The switch panel isn’t drawing any power until it is turned in
@@MarkBrenner you could be right but I don’t believe that’s the case from a lot of the other install videos I’ve seen.
@@PKDiver I’m not positive but it just makes sense that it’s not drawing any power in the off setting. Doesn’t even have a backlight on

Hello, how can i contact you about the product sponsorship?
It would be awesome if they made the switch box connect to the fuse block by BlueTooth. Then you wouldn’t have to run wires inside
How did you get over your first fix it ticket? I just got my first one for 20% windshield tint 🤣
Dang that’s dark!!
U should cut holes in the box
New video… let’s do it 🙌🙌
Where is Ashley ?
Let’s go!!
