Hi, to get more rides you have to identify the peak times. Generally, a peak time in Toronto would be 7am to 8:30am on weekdays when people trying to go to the office and evening time when they are going home. Also, try Friday & Saturday nights starting from 5pm

I'm doing Uber Eats deliveries in the same city. I've been thinking about doing rides and to be honest, this video is discouraging. I sort of think Uber sends these bonus offer people the worst rides on purpose, though. I remember with eats I once got a complete 3 deliveries in a certain time window for a bonus $6. Every offer I got that night was horrible, no tip, $12/hr delivery ie base fee, which is $3. I refused a few of them but I started wasting so much time, I just took 2 to get it over with and went home. Same as you, none of them tipped after the delivery. Got my $6 though lol

I tried driving for Uber and it’s not a good job at all! Uber takes 60% of your wage lol by the time you pay for your gas it’s not worth it! You also need to put in 12 hours a day to make something half decent. Car maintenance doesn’t come cheap, you’ll also put 100,000km a year on your car then the money you made you’ll loose it in your cars value… Uber needs to pay better for anyone to take this job serious.

The final earning that I mentioned at 08:10 was completed in 7 hours within a day and it includes the bonus that I mentioned at 00:40
400$ in 7 hours can make only drivers that drive 12 hours a day and have all bonuses available such as surge and boost. On that 400$ you have to deduct gas and most important thing is there are taxes that you have to pay on the end of the year. And as a self employed taxes are outrageous . So your 400$ come to 200-250$ in real. Anyone wants to try to drive for a 7 hours go ahead and try 😂😂😂
At 08:10, I mentioned the final earning, earnings after bonus, and other costs like you mentioned (gas, taxes) that should be considered while calculating the net amount. Nice point
