Beautiful resort I stayed here 3 times and still love it even since its changed brands from Dreams to Hilton. It only got better to me especially with the massive renovations. La romana make’s punta cana look bad beach wise there is no sea weed issues here as it is south of the island. Highly recommend
Would you recommend their food? I've heard its sub par. Thats the only thing stopping me from going.

You need to make reservation only for Japanese and seafood restaurants, others no need 😊
Would you go for adults or family? We are adults and normally we would choose adults but the pool and the beach area actually looks better on the family side according to the videos.

If you traveling as a couple or with your adult friends, i recommend you to stay at the adult side because the concept is better for adults, but you are free to stay at family side pool/beach if you want but you can not stay at adults side if you stay at family side. There might be a lot of kids at the family side / pool.
That really bugs me the pancakes and other foods are not in hot plates or heat lamps or anything. The food doesn't look hot!

Actually we didn´t fill any forms before of to go there, btw we didnt´t paid any fee at the pass control i dont know why :)

If you upgrade with premium ,you can use the jacuzzi and premium pools. Also its includes with butler service. We didn't need it but it depends on what you want :)

Are adults staying on the family side allowed to go on the adults only side?

If you stay on family side without kids, so you can use facilities and restaurants on adults side, if you stay on adults side so you can use facilities also on family side as well. But i recommend you to stay on adults side if you travelling as a couple because concept is better on adults zone for couples.
