I imagine if you prep the car yourself like remove all the trim and lights it would actually look pretty damn good for the price. The overspray is always what kills me with Maaco
People saying don't take it to maaco, not worth it, don't trust them. Well, who do you suggest then? You can't talk smack about a company without having suggestions. Make no sense to me
I agree a couple hundred cheaper would be nice, but it looks better than I expected. As long as you understand what you're getting going in.

I don't know 1000 for a paintjob but they can't even tape shit off properly. No matter the price I would expect none of the overspray from a professional paintjob
Your have to find a good maaco. They are a franchise some are much better than others. A flawless paint job would cost you 5k at least.
For less than $1200 not bad;I figured the body work alone would be that much.They did a good job on the door but they kinda homied out with the fenders.It would have been nice if you could have bought a replacement for the passengers side.Still, you can't really holler,the paint looks pretty nice.Once you get the bumpers done it will look even better.
This was a pretty great value paint. For $1.1k and pulling a dent is amazing maaco exists for a reason. I'm getting my truck back soon and see how my local one does.
I was going to do the same thing with my $5k project car and got about the same quote. Said F it and decided to tackle it on my own. I've sprayed before but it's been over 20 yrs. Wasn't in a rush and figured my son and I could knock it out. I'm almost there and probably into it $200 with the Harbor Freight special and paint/supplies. I say, if you're in a hurry and just want it done and you have the extra cash...go to MAACO, I've had two cars done by them with about the same results as you did. 7 out 10. 👊🏼🍻

Love it so far! Would be curious to hear what they have to say when you go back and question them about the few things that weren't fulfilled. Could wind up being a $1000 job in the end, which isn't too bad! Excited for the next update!

Drool. Didn't fix the corner underneath the front tbumper, peel around the door handle and as you mentioned the overspray. I feel like you should have removed the bumpers and went euro bumpers. Quality overall was priced what it's worth.

Get some color match paint and 2k glamour clear and go for it. I’ve painted some stuff that you would never guess was rattle canned lol
