Beautiful! Thank you 😊 I have trouble reading patterns, so it helped to have you speak the instructions. It’s the only sun granny square video I was able to find with speaking! I appreciate the time you took to explain things.
@@catherine7287Hii! I'm so sorry I just realized that my reply to your comment was meant for another comment. I'm really sorry. Yes round 5 is SC not 1/2 DC sorry about the little mixed up.
I'm sorry to bother you. And I don't mean it badly. I was just a bit lost from the begining. If the chain doesn't count, then I make 12 more DC and end up with 13 in total, don't I? Because then I got to the round 2, where I counted 27 stitches (chain, 2 dc in the same stitch and 2 DC in all 12 stitches - 24 stitches). I really apreciate your time and this tutorial. I just wanted to make it properly.
Hii! Yes, the chain 2 does not count and when you work 12 DC you are going have 12 DC, ( make sure you end your round 1 on top of your chain 2) Then you will 2 DC in the same chain 2 , and you are going to have 24 DC. Hope this helps
My corners on round 5 are ending up on the stars point instead of the st before, does anyone know why that is happening? I can't find any mistakes in my other rows that i can see
Hii! Sorry about that. I think you should count your stitches again, beginning from round 1, I'm pretty sure you will find a little error somewhere. Hope this helps
Do you happen to have a moon and or star granny square? I would love to make a blanket with that combo but want them the same size. And I like how mine turned out of this sun! 💖. I am new to crochet and you made this easy to understand.
Hii! Thank you very much for your lovely words and I'm so glad to hear that your sun granny turned out beautiful even as a beginner ☺️🥰. Sorry I have not yet done a tutorial on moon and or star granny but hopefully I will do soon
@@Cara2023ODonnell Yeah mixing up the colors will be a lovely. I just uploaded a tutorial on the Sun and Moon Granny Square, here is the the link here: ua-cam.com/video/0WFVejGFp3I/v-deo.htmlsi=C_CJyWRoqu36XYoL
@@njeniehandmade oohhh!!! I love it! I have done some of the suns in solid yellow and solid blue. But I’m excited to mix these in. I will share some pics soon. I’m really new (less than 6 months of crocheting) and these are perfect to practice and end up with something fun, and end up with a blanket in the end. Thank you for updating me.
Thank you very much! ☺️ Sorry I have not done a tutorial on moon granny yet but I definitely do a tutorial on that soon. But here is a tutorial on Sun and Moon Granny if you will like to check it out 😊 ua-cam.com/video/0WFVejGFp3I/v-deo.htmlsi=gPTM_GAEP7ssrbCx
Hii! You are welcome! ☺️ Yes you can increase the size your square by repeating R-6 which is a working DC stitches. So you can add 1or 2 more rounds of R-6
Hii! You're welcome! Yes it's 2 SC I just realized I said 2 DC instead of 2 SC 🤦. Sorry about the little mixed up. I'm glad you found the tutorial helpful 😊
You are smart and your teaching is beautiful but I need a pattern please I can't finish it I have a problem in the last angel I have tried to redo it more than five times it doesn't work😭 I wish it was full steps without cutting the video
Hii! So sorry to hear you had to redo your work more than five times. The tutorial is complete I think what you need to do is to reduce the speed of the video and watch it on a more slower speed so you can follow up the step by step process easily. Hope this helps
I can't wait to make these smaller in Gold & Purple for my daughters 18th Birthday Party Favor as Keychains. I will not square it but keep it round. :)
Hii! Everyone sorry beginning of - Round 5 is 2 sc not dc . So sorry for that little mixed up 🤦

I think the beginning of round 4 seemed like 2 sc. So I was a bit confused about whether to put ½DC or SC?
Round 5, sorry.

Theres supposed be only one sc between the rise and falls instead of 2 like everything else. This might be what youre doing bc it what i was doing
Very nice!
Thank you very much! 😊
Lovely! How do you keep it flat?
Hii! Thank you very much 😊 To keep it flat is by steam blocking or just blocking the granny squares
It's beautiful ❤️
Can you please tell which type of yarn is this ....cotton or acrylic?
Thank you very much! 🥰
It's anti-pilling acrylic yarn 🧶

If I wanted to make a granny square hat can I end it at row 5?
Hii! Yes you can end at row 5 for your hat but I will suggest you do 1 row of SC but if you won't like that then just ending at row 5 will be good

where can I find brand weight and yarn color description information?
Hii! You can search for that here on UA-cam I believe there are a couple of videos about that
At the start of round 5, you said to do double crotchet but did single??
