i wrote out the pattern for myself, here it is if anyone needs it💕
Color A: Yellow
Color B: White
Color C: Red
Magic circle, ch 1
Round 1: 8 sc, sl st into first st, ch 2 (does not count as a st)
Round 2: 8 dc inc *finish last dc with Color B*, sl st
*work Color A into sts*
Round 3 (moon): *same st as sl st* sc, (sc, hdc in 1 st), hdc, (dc inc in next 2 sts), tr inc, (dc inc in next 2 sts), hdc, (hdc, sc in 1 st), sc, sl st *finish with Color A*
*cut Color B yarn tail*
Round 4: *Color A* (ch 1, hdc), hdc inc, hdc, hdc inc, hdc *BLO* [sc, sc inc] rep 9 times, sc in next 2 sts, sc in sl st, sl st [36 sts]?
Round 5: ch 2, dc in next 2 sts together, ch 4 [dc in next 3 sts together, ch 4] rep 11 times, sl st
*cut Color A*
Round 6: *Color A* (work into 11th ray) standing dc, yo once, then take Color C and finish dc (work Color A into sts), [dc into next 4 sts (finish 4th dc w Color A), dc finish with Color C (work Color C into sts)] rep 11 times, last dc finish w Color C, sl st into first st of round
*cut Color A*
