Please. This man is NO dictator: search on UA-cam for my video (I lived in Libya) "the green book slightly updated version" and you'll see something you probably never knew

If you watch one of these films a day, it will take 12 years to get through them all. I am giving it a try though. Excellent documentaries - and this is so ironic with what has happened recently which makes it a very important historical document.

Libya's potential to become a wealthy nation is huge; the amount of money it rakes in from its oil is massive and the population is only around 6 Million.
This country can be the next Kewuit, were EVERYBODY lives a wealthy and comfortable lifestyle.
Too bad the powers that be won't allow this to happen...

I agree to an extent. Many Muslim nations run there empire based on the principles of Islam, this is what I mean. They are trying to match a centuries old way of thinking to modern scientific progress.
If Libya has created itself in a Secular manor, as has Turkey, than I would understand.

We had enough of this Dictatorship and its effects on our Beloved Libya inside out. We need basic change. We want our country civilized, free & open, but that doen't mean that any freak got 100$ in his bocket can come and miss around ..

paying ransom is not good negotiation, it is appeasement and should be shunned. He does not have the right to spend Libya's money to glorify himself, it is not his to give.

Hell I'm American and I know Libya is not a bad place. Sure the people may be "poor" but they are some of the happiest poor people I have seen. I had seen another documentary about how Libya has small business and how they try to stay away from huge things such as Wal Mart. The west tries making it seem like they are a backward nation that is suffering. The country is for the people, its not like something such as North Korea.

Books like Shopping for Bombs (available on amazon) show that Gadhafi indeed disarmed due to the 2003 Iraqi occupation by the US and allies.

@kristijanadrian lol srry but ur english is way too difficult for me, it s not my native language. wait so u agree with me? but anyways i was asking u, what can best be done, take it underground or not? is it smart to gear up ppl about these things? am willing to deal with the consequences of my actions, but i fear for ppl i care about, that s why i mentioned that. they most likely have other plans for their lives. but frm what i understood u say it s a necessary sacrifice?

Why don't those who seek vengance against Mohamed al-Megrahi seek the same for the captain of the USS Vincennes, that attacked Iran Air Flight 655 in 1988 killing 290 passengers? No one has been prosecuted for that illegal act of mass murder.

But so is Israel. My Grandpa goes to Israel regularly. He's working for Brightsource. The Israelies have the best airforce in the world. Adn their attitude towards countries like Libya is not 'if' it's 'when' will we desolate them?
Amd 092, don't underestimate the us. We have the LARGEST army in the world (at least we did the last time i checked) and because we are a voluntier force means every man an women in the military joined willingly and has good morale.

It took a new American half White President to win the trust of the American floes, now that they are older in age they'll try to stay in the human race because the next time America will not be so forgiven and I hope they learn that from the mess they created for their innocent people. If come over to our side you'll find the grass is greener and the water is clean. We got to stay positive and remember what GOD said in the BIBLE and everything will be alright. LOVE and PEACE to you all.

@kristijanadrian so i agree with u about the masses. we are all brainwashed with an endless number of different things from when we r young, but only a few ppl manage to break lose. i keep trying this myself and fail miserably every time cuz i cant keep away from certain things which are part of that mass brainwashing. since u r living in society it s hard not to do sum things that ppl do which is my point, u cant escape it. but ppl need to kno what or who s behind all this. it s rlly fucked up
