hey i just wanted to ask if med school is hard? I'm in highschool and dont know what to take. My mom wants me to go to a medical school but people keeps saying it's really hard and I'm scared. Please share some experience it'll really mean a lot
@@miku_x_nakano3607 hey it’s really good that you’re thinking about it as early as now! Well, Med School is indeed hard, but you can deal with it by having proper time management and sufficient preparation 😊 The hard things about medschool are not the lessons themselves but the amount of reading and memorization you have to do, so that means if you manage your time well enough and just read and read your med books over and over until youve absorbed everything, you’re sure to pass medschool 😊 I myself, like Fred, was an Econ Major when I went to Uni, but I pursued medicine right after, with no medical background or anything, but so far i’m still doing okay. You don’t have to be THAT smart, you just need to know how to balance your time and find the best study method for yourself. There’s no perfect pre-med course so whatever pre-med course you take, just make sure you take it seriously. Also, I hope you would find time to reflect if you really want it for yourself or not. Cause if you’re doing it just because your mother wants you to, it might be hard for you especially during times when youre stumped with so much to study and you will keep thinking to yourself “this is not what i want”. But just to answer your question, Yes, Med School IS hard, but it’s not something you can’t do 😊 After all, nothing is ever easy in this world anyway. And there are already thousands of Doctors in the world, so if they survived med school, then im pretty sure you can too! These doctors were once like you too. So just buckle up. You can do it 💪
