Great video, and I love what you did with the thumbnail for it! I generally pronounce it like "thon", with no 'C' at the start, but when I first started this project with a couple friends we joked about how nobody would know how to pronounce it anyway. I agree with much of your criticism and hope to eliminate, or perhaps sidegrade many of its problems in a another project, but I'll be forever humbled by how many people liked its horror atmosphere and artwork. I'm astounded even now that someone like you took the time to make a video on it almost 6 years on. On the graphical issue, I never liked letter boxing and for some reason always liked filtering on 640x480 games, so that is why I made that choice, and it was actually the look for the game as I was developing it until GM 8.1's filtering was broken by an update. The current filtering is there to make the game look like what it did when I was building it originally.
It's also humbling when a developer takes the time to watch and leave a comment on my videos. I really do think you nailed the atmosphere, with the aesthetics being enhanced by gameplay itself.
Thank you so much, and I wish you good luck on your future projects! I'll definitely be keeping my eyes on a sequel to CTHON.

Don't have any plans for Descent in the near future, but I'll consider it. It just won't be this year.
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced "see tee hun" just fyi.
I almost pronounced it like that as a gag.
