Hi! Sharon so I started my period in 2022 but even before that I sometimes got a sharp pain in my🐱 and I was never sure if that was just a cramp or something else .
I know that our periods don’t sync, but it’s nice to think that you spend so much time with someone the worst part of the month you two can experience it together

The best way I can explain it is because your brain releases dopamine and endorphins during that time, so it might help with the cramps for a little bit. However this might not be the case for everyone

This is random but I am just gonna tell you that once your on your 4-6th period your gonna start getting cramps at school so just try to wear something black and comfy when your on your period

Periods sync so ovulation also syncs which means that the probability of many females getting pregnant at the same time is higher -> many babies at the same time -> when the predator comes it won’t be able to kill all the babies because there’s too many of them -> bloodline continues, the tribe doesn’t go extinct.

Actually your periods do sync up believe it or not. It happened to me during basic combat training in the Army, I was stuck in a bay with 50+ females for 10 weeks. Our cycles were all synced up. I just got off a day before shipping and two weeks later I had my period again😂
Ur right there is actually studies on this. They are trying to still figure out why but they do know they can sync. Very common for close friends or sisters

I just want to point out that for some reason you don't actually bleed in water or at least I haven't, I think the water makes it float up or smth because I can swim for hours on my period and there's never even a drop of blood
yes it’s the water pressure!! if you submerge your body in like a pool or the ocean, that pressure will keep your blood from leaking. but once you get out, it’ll be back to normal and start flowing again. think of like, corking or closing something and then uncorking or opening it
Just a reminder that you CAN swim while on you’re period, but don’t in public pools without a tampon. The blood you bleed can do stuff to the water and all that (I don’t really know what exactly) so just be careful
your blood doesn’t do anything to the water, especially in public pools! they pump them with so much chlorine and chemicals to clean them. if you were to bleed a bit in the water, it would instantly dilute it. just like if someone were to pee. pls don’t spread misinformation without having something to back it up!!
Also the entire duration of a menstrual cycle can be divided into for four main parts which is: 1.) 1st day to the 5th day is: menstrual cycle 2.) day 6th to 13th day is: follicular phase 3.) day 14th to 15th day is: Ovulation phase(the most painful day) 4.) about the tampon thing, virginity is actually just your hymen being broken which a tampon doesnt do ofc. (it can only stretch it not take your virginity) it’s technically also a social construct but just to let you know !

They only attack when they mistake you for food and once they realize you're not they leave but you can bonk them on the head and push them the other way or flip them upside-down and they won't bother you if they ever did get close. Hi! I'm young too and don't know much but I'll try helping you 1. You'll usually see either brown or light red blood at the start 2. It varies, but typically 5-7 days 3. I think it's around when you're 50 :( 4. I personally don't feel embarrassed because we're all women in the bathroom, but you can go in a stall and flush while you're opening it. They’ll be some spotting like maybe some red, pink, brown or yellow but there are some apps that have period trackers that predict abt when it happens (although it may not be very accurate during ur first year bc ur period tends to jump around a lot) 2. 4-7 but it varies. I know a girl whose periods last 3 days so honestly idk how that works 3. According to the internet allegedly if ur born ‘before 12’ it will stop at 40 but thats most likely false info but based off google 50. 4. I just get it done and dusted. People won’t really care much abt it so you don’t need to worry about it too much! (Hope this helps!)

That’s not anatomically true. If it’s getting close to your period you can induce yourself by psychologically believing you should be on your period but your hormones wont alter to the environment around you

Hi! Just a tip if you interested: If you will experince pain during it try to put warm things on your stomach. You could try warming muscle cream(i don't know the exact name) or for some person cold things are more relaxing on their stomach.
Why do people equate virginity with the hymen being intact tho? It's pretty weird when your hymen can break from literally everyday activities like exercise. For anyone wondering, the whole idea of “virginity” is based on a woman’s hymen “breaking” after sexual intercourse…. However, the hymens only purpose is to keep stool out of the vaginal canal during infancy… basically, it keeps infants clean and prevents vaginal infections. Most women still have their hymen after sex, it just tears. And some women even have parts of their hymen intact after giving birth. Virginity is a social/religious construct, it’s not a biological thing that actually exists.

You won’t bleed in the water because of the water pressure, but once you get out of the water you’ll start bleeding like normal. (Maybe get a towel right when you get out or something.) Just wanted to clear this up so you could swim whether you’re on it or not💓

1. You'll usually see either brown or light red blood at the start
2. It varies, but typically 5-7 days
3. I think it's around when you're 50 :(
4. I personally don't feel embarrassed because we're all women in the bathroom, but you can go in a stall and flush while you're opening it.

1. They’ll be some spotting like maybe some red, pink, brown or yellow but there are some apps that have period trackers that predict abt when it happens (although it may not be very accurate during ur first year bc ur period tends to jump around a lot)
2. 4-7 but it varies. I know a girl whose periods last 3 days so honestly idk how that works
3. According to the internet allegedly if ur born ‘before 12’ it will stop at 40 but thats most likely false info but based off google 50.
4. I just get it done and dusted. People won’t really care much abt it so you don’t need to worry about it too much!

For anyone wondering, the whole idea of “virginity” is based on a woman’s hymen “breaking” after sexual intercourse….
However, the hymens only purpose is to keep stool out of the vaginal canal during infancy… basically, it keeps infants clean and prevents vaginal infections.
Most women still have their hymen after sex, it just tears. And some women even have parts of their hymen intact after giving birth.
Virginity is a social/religious construct, it’s not a biological thing that actually exists.
