Don’t get me wrong folks because I simply adored Eddie Van Halen all my life but he was not a instrumental guitarist. Eddie wasn’t meant to fill 7-9 mins of music with blah blahhh blahhhhhh. Eddie was meant to build the structure of the piece then engineer the greatest most catchy riffs to annihilate the solo area. He literally ruled this part of the kingdom! I sure will miss the guy. He sure made the world a better place when I was growing up!
Yeah, and Eddie played a Kramer. Even if some of the guitarists didn't play a Les Paul, they were all touched by Les' innovations. It doesn't matter what guitars they played.
Thank you for posting this video! If I could go back in time and see just one show, this would be it! It's absolutely killer!! 😻😻😻😻😻
A piece of history
Thank You for posting this AMAZING video. Can't think of a better way to start a Saturday morning!
Tank you !!!
I absolutely love this guy. It's a story of good American ingenuity, genius and a whole lot of patience. Thanks for sharing.
Les Paul picked musicians he admired to attend and take part of this.

Why doesn’t anyone put the date of performances when posting pieces of music history?
The credits tell us that it was 1988.
August 18, 1988.
