THERE IS NOTHING ORIGINAL ABOUT THIS!!! We have been building cars like this in the south for decades putting rims on them. Sometimes we redo them original, other times we rebuild them from the ground up.
Had a 76 LeSabre as a teenager. 350 was gutless but it was silky smooth. When I'd take an offramp and come coasting to a stop, you'd think it had stalled out it was so quiet. Doubled my money selling it but wish I'd kept it
Sir you built one of the most beautiful baddest Buick’s on the planet ! The pride shows throughout! My Dad had Buick’s as well and I have always loved the Buick’s . Thank you for keeping it all Buick! If I owned it I wouldn’t change a thing ! Thank you for sharing ✌️
@@draines9237 I felt the same way about the wheels. I think chrome rims would had complimented the stainless steel trim on the car. I would had gone 18s with white walls, same tire height. But dude made the car his way, can't knock him for his personal touch.
MAN....I LOVE vintage old GM boats of that era. I had a '79 4 door Regency with an Olds 403, a '80 Delta 88 with a 307 (last of the mechanical HEI/ 4 barrel Rochester) and an '84 4 door Delta 88. They didnt make 600 HP but they rode like riding on a cloud, were well maintained by the previous owners because they were older folks and they were easy to work on. Keeping this 600 HP monster Buick powered is so cool also. I stuck with Olds power in an 86 442 instead of going the easy route with a SBC.
That just goes to prove that you don't need a mid size car or a pony car to make a muscle car with luxury & without the pickup truck or haywagon ride!!! That's an Awesome Deuce & 1/4!!!
This article caught my eye, because I owned a 75 Electra 225 4 door for 15 years. Same midnight blue color with a white vinyl top. Fast, comfortable, and reliable. 1975 was the first year requiring catalytic converters. I replaced it with a "Dutchman", but was told it wouldn't pass inspection in New York, so I put it back in. The only bad thing was: "It never passed a filling station it didn't like"
My dad owned 2 Electra 225s a 72 and a 76... I owned a 72 and we loved them. Yours is a treasure.... Thanks for sharing your story with this extremely exceptional automobile.
This thang would look so good with all black or paint matched bumpers and trim, then maybe lower it just a little. But it’s still such a cool car just the way it is! Props to this guy for being different but in a cool way.
That's a great car to pull a bank heist with! Lots of room, can haul 5 guys with big guns and a boatload of cash. Flies completely under the radar as a getaway car and in case the chase gets hairy, there's a lot of weight to knock cars out the way! Giddy up and "HANDS UP!"
I love those Electra 225., my dad had two of them. The first one at 16 years of age I learned to drive and would sneak off and street race with. It was a sleeper and would walk down most of my friends who had the fast cars of that time. I was much older when he purchased the last one and it road like a dream...

I love it, my late sister had a '73 Buick LeSabre with a Buick 350, car caught fire, but still ran, I'm a Mopar Dude, but I love the big GM bodies from 1971-1976!!!

Not a fan of the wheels but its a very cool car all the same. I have always said this, you Americans can do luxury in cars extremely well. How good does it sound? Wicked! Great video yet again Shawn!
This is perhaps the best customization that I've seen yet. I love those late sixties early to mid seventies large, 2D mobiles. 4500lbs and 600hps, yes this would walk away from my Challenger Scatpack.
He had to find a wheel that was light but big enough to fill up that wheel well, and the car is too powerful for wire spokes. His options were limited.
This is not your Grandfather's luxury car. This one looks a heck of a lot more fun!! Cruise around in luxury with some horsepower to give you that throw you into your seat kinda fun!! Cool ride!!👍👍
I got a 15' Charger RT and my baby tips the scale at 4300ish thanks to all the modern safety requirements and 40 airbags along with tons of electronic crap that every new car needs ironically a unibody. These old beasts are just heavy simply for their frames and heavy body metal. My 96' Impala is also about the same 💪🏾💪🏾
