- Mor Acro finds the real Morocco weekly souk in Chefchaoun. Even larger than the one he had previously gone to. This Souq was clean and organized, with paved paths to allow Rumi to scoot through it with ease. We enjoyed shopping in the second hand section to find some toys. If you are in Chefchaoun the best day to be there is a Monday because you will find this large weekly Souq.

Believe it or not, Rumi is the luckiest ever. Their parents live her growth in life hour after hour, more than that second by second. It's really fantastic. Go on you'll end up with a special daughter.❤
I think that the smell of the weekly market gives a person positive energy

3achra d ryal is 10 Ryal a piece, Ryal is an old currency which is still used by some people in few regions, 1 Ryal equals 0.05 Dirham or 0.005 US$. Tomato costs today 12 d Ryal = 0.60 Dirhams/ Kg.
They change the value of real across the kingdom!

Idk if you know this, but 1 Ryal in the north of Morocco (Tangier, Tétouan, Chefcheouen, etc) is 0.50 DH while it is 0.05 DH in other parts of Morocco
Most people in the north uses Dirhams or Francs (Cents) especially with bigger amounts, if someone said in the north 20 000 without specifying the currency that is probablly be in Francs/cents (200Dh) while in the south 20 000 would be in Ryals (1000 DH).
This is essential information and it makes the souk prices make much more sense. Thank you!

الدلاح سيكون سعراه غالي بعض الشيء لأنا الدولة مونيعات على الفلاحين ان يزراعو الدلح كثيرا لأنا يستهيك المياه كثيرا

هناك من المغاربة من يستعمل الفرنك ايضا و يقصد به السنتيم. مثلا 10000 فرنك هي 100 درهم. هناك ايضاً من يستعمل دورو خصوصا في الشمال الشرقي للمغرب و لا اعرف شخصيا ماذا تعني هل ريال أم درهم أم نصف درهم 😂😂 يجب ان تسأل دائما عن السعر بالدرهم حتى تكون الأمور واضحة.

ريال في تطوان هو 10 ريال في باقي مناطق المغرب، سعر الطماطم هو 6 دراهم
