Thanks very much for the cargo dimensions. You are the first reviewer who tells us that detail. ❤
Glad we could help!
Excellent video!
Love your car video 📹 😍 ❤️ 💕
It’s very nice! I love the off road! Very cool and amazing!!!
We are getting that as the Prado for around 100k usd here in the Philippines and it will be the 4 cylinder turbo base model. We have the LC300 which is 120k usd. It's expensive over here.
This has not replaced the 200 series, this is a model below that series aka Prado in other markets. The replacement for the 200 series Landcruiser is the 300 series which is available in other markets except the US. The reason behind this is most likely sales and the cost of the Landcruiser 200 series in the US. Toyota includes the wording Landcruiser with multiple model variations.
It did replace the 200 series in the U.S. lol
I think the 250 (Prado) harkens back to the real Landcruiser anyways, which is what they were going for per Toyota
@MaddNomad1015 it's a different model and not a direct replacement. The direct replacement would be the 300 series. The heading is factually incorrect. It should list the model/series/ Landcruiser.
Great video of the Toyota Land Cruiser!!! Happy 4th of July!!!
I would like to see a two tone white with a black top.
Beautiful SUV but I think prefer the round light one 👍
4:37 that is very disappointing that Toyota stopped providing an independent turn signal. I don't really mind the color but a different bulb/unit from the brake/tail light. Weird that they went that way now that the domestics are going with that safety feature. Even the F-150 have amber rear turn signal now!
Thank yoy soooo much for the cargo measurements in inches
I loved the older land cruisers but the new ones are sweet as well. I get the v8 wants but these new technology with 465 torque etc have made these very nice. Plus the heads up display etc are perfect. Let’s face it not many Land Cruiser owners are not off-roading every day. In fact many probably never leave the highways. They buy them for size, convenience and most of all the likelihood of driving 3-400k miles in their lives with little to no issues.
But this is not the old land cruiser that u are thinking about. This is a land cruiser prado, and it is a lite duty land cruiser sold overseas, until now. That never had a v8, unless you get the lexus version called the GX that came with a v8 from the 1st and second generations. Now, it's a twin turbo v6, but some people rather get the hybrid max of the LC 250 for improved milage, but only slightly less horsepower and torque
Why does it require Premium 91 octane while the Tacoma with the same engine is fine on 87? Can ANY reviewer of the Landcruiser ask a Toyota rep?
Another UA-cam channel just recently stated that it can use 87 octane, unless you are towing something of considerable weight. The introductory UA-cam video by Toyota, also stated that this engine could use 87 octane.
The rav4 has heated rear seats. Why not this?
Make a video comparing the Land Cruiser with the Lexus GX 550
They already did.
5th gen 4Runner comparison
ua-cam.com/video/aesvQZaO2Mo/v-deo.htmlsi=7AFT87k68YjAaHOw
Do you know why Toyota/Lexus have a QC hold on almost all LC and GX550?? Is it the sunroof drain???
This is toyota land cruiser prado around global in USA now you have two prado which is lexus gx and land cruiser
I don’t trust the power train. I’ll keep my 2022 4Runner limited.
9:08 what happened to coupons?
Video taken from outside will show us more of capabilities of the new lc 250
Doesn’t look close to $70,000! Maybe $50,000
Why are you measuring cargo height as if the battery hump didn’t exist?
Should have larger I4!
It looks amazing and I'm sure it's great...but it's $68k. Seems grotesquely overpriced. No one needs this vehicle to commute to the office. It's a toy. A very expensive toy.
Who is exterior designer of this car? It is terrible, bumper could be going through without black grill coming down, because they're not using chrome, this is not expensive or cheap car, but at least it should look luxury
What is traffic jam assist?
Hands free driving under 25 mph on highways
Why are so many people who don’t want this vehicle watching this video?
Maybe they do want one and they're writing negative comments to bring down demand...
because were sick and tired of being told what WE want and paying a insane price for them and being told that ITS OK....and if we dont say something and voice it then nothing will change and youll soon see a economy vehicle starting at 100k
Wanting and buying are 2 different things
Cant imagine anyone getting this over the 4Runner with the same exact drivetrain & roughly $12,500 less than the Land Cruiser. It would be different if Toyota at least allowed the 5.7l to be optioned in. But why do that if you can just give your customers the finger?
The comp for the Land Cruiser is the 2025 4Runner TRd PrO or Trailhunter. Both of those will be within $5k of the mid trim Land Cruiser fully loaded with premium package
Space pretty much, new 4 runner will have a cabin similar to a Taco Bell
But this is not the old land cruiser that u are thinking about. This is a land cruiser prado, and it is a lite duty land cruiser sold overseas, until now. That never had a v8, unless you get the lexus version called the GX that came with a v8 from the 1st and second generations. Now, it's a twin turbo v6, but some people rather get the hybrid max of the LC 250 for improved milage, but only slightly less horsepower and torque.
Compared this Land Cruiser with new Tacoma and 4Runner, which one will you pick? @CarConfections
This in other markets is toyota land cruiser prado j250- with previous versions j150, j120. There is a real LandCruiser with version like lc100, lc200 and most current lc300 which is the mighty one than this!
Toyota could sell a more utilitarian LC 300 but it would cut into sequoia sales
Prado is more of a throwback to what the Land Cruiser used to be. During that Japan press release, Toyota said they’re going back to just having 3 versions of the concept instead of the 300 being THE LC
@MaddNomad1015 Yeah, it reminds me of a makeover of the 100 series
@@normanli7085 or 60 series
Really quick?!?! Arent these almost 8 seconds from 0-60?
A $40k plus vehicle, slapped a landcruiser name to it, charged $58k for it, let add 10k to it for the 1st edition, now let add $10k for the dealer markup. sound like a great idea.
I love it…..@ $48k. For $68k I’m going with the Grand Highlander or the Lexus GX
same here gx 550 overtrail
1958 is the sweet spot
@@Tylander_ use if one can find a deal on a low option one
Then it would eat 4runner sales. Toyota should’ve made the 4runner more of a cheap, dedicated, off roader or axe the Sequoia
Those don't really make sense to cross shop against each other. If you need the off road ability the Landcrusier is the only pick. If you don't then it makes no sense over the other two.
Overpriced... Toyota lately has gone insane with their pricing let alone how these new models have less features for the price. I'm in no way a Ford fan, but their Bronco has similar and some cases, more features for much less (wouldn't trust it long term), but damn - Toyota is definitely dropping affordable cars in favor of "luxury" light cars that cost the same as their premium brand Lexus. Just like how pick up trucks have suede and leather seats with almond milk latte warmers for you to load a bag of groceries from Whole Foods - this "land cruiser" is ridiculous
It’s not land cruiser
for a low low price of 150k!
Mmmm, get this or a Lexus for the same price ($68k)? 🤔 😂
I would wait 2 years so they work out the issues. Ask the 3rd Gen Tundra owners about buying a redesigned automobile.
@@JoseR-bw2gs good point. Thinking that on the Lexus GX and 4Runner too
Depends if somebody cares about mileage/range. That Lexus is a posh ride, but early reports are 13-16 mpg in the real world. So comically poor, and far worse than estimates. But it's damn nice.
@@caflet2009 yikes! Similar MPG to the old dependable GX V6 but with that new fancy Lexus engine. Still poor MPG. Ugh!
@@bassandglof I had a 2023 Sequoia and traded it in last week for 2024 4Runner Limited. I will probably go back to a Sequoia in a year or so once they figure out the engine situation.
engine recall, safety fraud and toyota wants 68 K for this ? 😂
Move over Range Rover. I think we might have a new king of the Whole Foods parking lot.
This is a FauxCruiser with batteries…hard pass
Y’all best be tripping rn tho!!! 82K for that fugly car???? Ummmm no no no boo!!!! Why you gonna buy that when you got a chance at these luscious yams if you get a Bimmer or Benz!!!??? Step up that game boo!!!!
for those who don’t want to live at the dealership repair shop
Sounds like a diesel
Reliability no more tell that to my 2022 TUNDRA WITH A SECOND BLOWN MOTOR WITH 17K MILES AND NEVER TOWED ANYTHING!!!!!!!!ALL THESE TURBO'S SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for you and good luck. I just traded in my 2023 Sequoia for a 2024 4Runner Limited. I had it for a year and even though I had no issues didn’t want to risk it.
Turbos have nothing to do with the issues though oddly enough. It’s been the v6
$82,000 for a Toyota Land Cruiser and you are not even getting a V8 no thank you. The old land cruisers at least came with a v8
Yes. In 2021 the Land Cruiser with the 8 cylinder was $84K, and now you get to own a 4 cylinder smaller SUV for a few thousand less.
@@JoseR-bw2gs the V8 was actually gold now hon get a 4 that is bead and it a a few thousand less For that price I would rather get a F250 Platinum 7.3 L Godzilla
@@JoseR-bw2gs Looks line your only body on frame option, with a V8 are the Tahoe-Escalade, Suburban-Escalade ESV. Too bad the old Land Cruisers were fantastic l, expensive but at least you got a V8. Btw I thought it was a twin-turbo V6 or that is only in the Alexis GX 550 variant?
V8s suck. Antiquated, terrible gas mileage, worse torque.
@@Tylander_ they are still more reliable than twin turbo v6’s engineering background here ideally you want to get a diesel inline 6 which or a 7.3 L gas V8 if how want to get a truck. I might go with the diesel 6.7 inline 6 power stroke
Hard pass 😂
Looks really cheap and overpriced. Get the Lexus.
But Gx looks cheap for their price tag too...I hate this gen of Toyota.
@@user-br4ug9xg9e I see a lot of comments like this.
2.4t Land Cruiser just sounds unreliable, boring and unsexy.
Stop this video!!!
That v6tt is crap!!!
Let us know when the engine grenades! Toyota a case study, on how to destroy a once great brand but is no more!
