- In June we visited France and Germany. Join us on our every day trips.
From our holiday accommodation in Trescouvieux we visited the old villages of Lussan and La Roque sur Cèze.
The village of Lussan (pop. 500) is in the attractive countryside to the north of the Gard department. It is officially listed as one of the 'Gard Villages of Character'.
As you approach Lussan you can see the village spread along the top of a hill with the original walls still surrounding the village. There is a large car park just below the walls and the village itself is largely pedestrian zone.
Nestled in the heart of the Provence Gard and classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, the charming perched village of La Roque-sur-Cèze (pop. less than 200) offers a beautiful architectural unit. Witness the remains of its castle, the Romanesque chapel, the medieval bridge spanning the Cèze and picturesque, cobbled and sloping alleys lined with beautiful stone houses.
Don't forget to admire the classified site of the waterfalls of Le Sautadet near the village, very impressive with its giant cooking pots!

Ook deze video reis met wandeling vond ik weer heel mooi. En daarbij hadden jullie ook supermooi weer om hier een mooie wandeling te gaan doen en je liet mij weer veel zien. Heerlijk dat geluid van klein waterval.Toch wel bijzonder dat dit hier zo was. Mooi ook de kleur van dat water. De hond genoot daarbij van een heerlijke zwempartij. Later zal ik je andere dagjes uit gaan zien want ik zag er meer voorbij komen bij de bel. Groetjes Tine en ook de muziek die je koos voor dit media project was weer heel mooi en gezellig daarbij Harrie.
Ja we hadden prachtig weer, zoals je van Zuid Frankrijk verwacht. Wel was het de eerste week erg warm, tot bijna 40 graden.

Wel even een vraag zet ik hierbij: Waarom zet je niet wat videos op je homepagina of afspeellijsten want ik zie nu steeds die favoriete videos en die worden toch wel bekeken. Soms kijk ik je videos ook via mijn tv ontvanger YT en dan is het soms moeilijk om in je videos te komen daar ik alleen die best bekeken videos ziet. En de videos van nu verdienen ook om meer bekeken te worden.
