  • You know there are various schools that God has for us. There's a school of persecution and through these various schools, the Holy Spirit will teach us things so that we are truly blessed in Christ.
Our problems in life cause us to press into Christ. To connect with Him in a way that we could never do before, and to learn principles of the word of God that we would never have learned unless we've gone through some problems. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death You are there with me. And I tell you His presence is deeper in the valley.
A very basic principle about relating to people is that as a child of God, you got to relate to them in the spiritual realm. But we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. The problem that you have with a person is rarely the issue that they're offended about. When you're dealing with people, you have to go deeper. But we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness, of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The first thing you have to understand is you're not just dealing with the person, but you're dealing with demonic things that are afflicting them. You may also be dealing with the things that have happened to them in the past: the insecurities, their fears or anxieties, all sorts of stuff is going on.
Abide in Jesus. Let no one steal your peace, your joy and your communion with Jesus Christ. It doesn't matter what your stuff is, decide to walk with Jesus. John 15:4 tells us to abide in Me and I in you. You are not gonna take me out of the glory, and I'm not gonna come out of the glory to descend to your anger and your issues. I'm going to stay in the glory. Abide in Me. I in you. You're not gonna bring me down demon to your anger level.
Do you have someone who’s offended at you? What you need to do is you can approach them with forgiveness. You don't even know what the issue is. But they're angry. You're going to approach them with forgiveness. and what is forgiveness? Forgiveness is love. When you come to the Father and say forgive me. He forgives you He approaches you with love. He is always ready to forgive, and are we not children of your heavenly Father?
Should we not come to people with an attitude of forgiveness. Are we ready to forgive no matter what. We are here to love. In Christ we are a spirit being.
It's not about winning the argument. It's not about sorting out the problems. That's not the goal. We are citizens of heaven. Our purpose is to forgive and love. Whatever your issue is, no matter what lies, accusations slander that you have against us, our purpose is to love you.
Truly lives are changed by an encounter with Jesus.
God loves you, and may He bless your life as you follow Jesus,
    Mark Hemans

Another excellent teaching Pastor Mark! I had to forgive my Father when I was in my early twenties for all the things that he did throughout my childhood with physical,, emotional, and mental abuse. It was eating me alive. When I really forgave him in my heart and not just my head we began to have a good relationship. Also, I set boundaries with him and would not let him abuse me when I was out of his house. My older sister would go on and on when she was around me and I told her I had forgiven him, and didn't want to talk about it. Slowly but surely my other siblings forgave him too and God restored our relationship with him. He was very angry and demonized, and coming home drunk to his family usually meant a violent attack. Even when he wasn't drinking he terrorized all of us.
I can think about it now and it doesn't bother me anymore, eversince the day I decided to forgive him so long ago.
Thank you Jesus for always being with me through it all, and for healing all the hurt. ❤❤ FORGIVENESS IS KEY!

God is trying to awaken His Bride, unite His body... and turn His sheep into lions with a collective roar... forgive quickly, readily, and love thy neighbour PERIOD.
I love the gentle firmness of this teaching.

Thank you so much for posting this. It spoke to my heart in a deep way and affirmed the really hard road I am walking. It is a discipline in the midst of suffering and being slandered is so difficult. Bringing the love of God, into that, is a very different way of walking in this world, but it is the best way.

I would love to be delivered and receive healing and know Jesus more I do know him but can't hear his voice. I'm also struggling with unforgiveness and a negative view on my self. How can I connect to this meeting?
