Today my beloved puppy died, i cried all day and couldnt find a way to calm myself down. I knew i wouldnt be able to sleep, thats until i came across this video, it calmed me down, took my mind off things, and really helped me sleep after such an awful day. Thank you so much

There’s actually research that says soft, warm lighting helps the mind relax and prepare for sleep where as blue or white light helps us awaken and keeps us alert. Just some little facts for ya since you loved the warm lighting :)
Actually, that is impossible since 100 years is only 3.154x10^9 seconds while the time it takes to watch the video the number of times you said is 1.667x10^27 seconds which is equal to 5.28535193x10^33 years which is significantly higher than the life span of any human beings. Of course my calculations are subject to errors but you get the picture.
Maria, I’m really really glad that I found your channel. Recently I’ve been diagnosed with a disorder called scoliosis in which my backbone has deformed slightly, and in serious cases, it may deform so much it will press against my lungs and rib cage and become life threatening. My case is already considered quite serious, almost requiring surgery, so I have to wear a brace which presses hard against my spine, pushing it into a straight position, and I have to wear it to sleep. This caused me to have sleep deprivation, being kept awake because of the pain, I’ve even started trying to drink different kinds of medicine that may make me drowsy just to have a better sleep, but I’ve watched your asmr and it helps me, although not entirely, but it does help me to sleep somewhat Thank you so muchhh :) Also if there is anyone wth this disorder too, just saying, I’m 14 and I’m fighting through it, and so can you ;)
Krul Tepes my cousin had scoliosis as a teenager. She had surgery to correct it and is doing just fine now. I hope you feel better soon. Talk to your doctor about the sleep deprivation. They may be able to recommend some over the counter sleep aids or prescription medication to help you. Sleep is important and restorative, don't let the deprivation go unchecked too long :)

Right now, I'm crying so much because I rewatched the first video I saw of yours. The one with the beautiful cards and journals, which is one that I've always revisited because of the comfort it gave me. I'm crying because for the past 3 years, which is a lot for me considering that I'm in my teens, you have helped me SO much through all of the things I've been through. I feel like part of me has grown up and matured a bit more whilst watching you. You became a part of my life that would bring me peace when I needed it the most, and I am eternally grateful for that. Whenever you're sad, I just want you to remember how much you have changed people's lives, mine included, with your videos and brilliant personality. You helped with my depression and my suicidal thoughts, and I can honestly say that many times you saved my life simply by posting a new video where you rambled and crinkled a packet of coconut flakes (lol). Thank you so much for sharing your story and love with us, and thank you for being who you are. You still have so much ahead of you and I'm glad that I could have been a tiny part in this journey, Masha. We love you and appreciate you!
Keep your chin up, friend. I had those same types of feelings all through my teens and early 20s as well. There will be times when you feel like giving up, and times when you forget how much those around you care about you. I can tell from the way you expressed yourself here that you are a kind, thoughtful person. Though it seems the world doesn't appreciate those traits, there will always be people in your life you do, and you can rely on them to give you strength. The depressions will always pass, and I promise it will get easier. I'm now 36 and my depressions are less frequent and less powerful. Remember that the depression isn't you, it's just something that happens to you, and it will always pass. Just as you said to Maria, you have so much ahead of you, too. Life is long and full of possibilities. I wish you luck and love on your journey through life. Peace.
5 years ago, this was my first asmr video I watched. Friend showed it to me at a sleepover and I pretended to find it funny but secretly watched it when she fell asleep LOL now I’m an addict of asmr! I see my old comments lol!

Maria! I love the idea of this video with soft lighting sometimes it's pretty hard to fall asleep with the white light from my phone even if I have night mode on, softer lighting definetly helps to not strain the eye!

Hey Maria, I just wanna thank you because I've recently had an operation to remove a vascular ring, with is where an artery is wrapped around my esophogus, which should have been detected when I was a baby but I was diagnosed with all different things while growing up. When I was in hospital I was in the worst pain ever because I had a chest tube going through from my back, which means I had to lay on it, and it was so uncomfortable, I also had to get waken up ever 4 and 6 hours for the nurses to take my blood pressure and give me paracetamol and ibruprofen. When ever I had the chance to sleep I played your ASMR videos and they helped me sleep. Now I am at home and I still can't do any physical activity for 6 more weeks and it hurts to lay on my left side, and it hurts to move a lot. I listen to your ASMR to help me sleep. You have been a major part on my road to recovery. Thank so so much Maria. xx

I'm 56 and I stopped dating about 10 years ago intentionally to work on myself. Then I just never started dating again. It's just so stressful dating at my age. Never really get lonely but you realize when you watch Maria's videos it's nice to have someone there to comfort you to talk to you and tuck you in when your troubled stressed or down. We all have our girl Maria, thank God. What would we do without her???

Maria, I want send you a big thank you hug. I found ASMR through your channel, and really loved it. And over the last few weeks, I finally realized why I love it. My mom was just diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. So now I know why she wasn’t a nurturing presence in my life. I love ASMR because I get to experience what I imagine it’s like to have a mom soothe you when your stressed, tuck you into bed, and make you feel safe and cozy. I have a baby daughter, and this is going to sound crazy, but I feel like ASMR taught me how to soothe and comfort her. I love white noise i can only sleep with a fan on other wise it takes me forever to sleep its to the point where i take my little fan or if going on vacation i take my humidifier with me people think its weird but its how i sleep
Same here, I legit cannot sleep without the low whirring of a fan/AC unit. Complete silence makes me anxious lol. And yes I have a little box fan I take with me whenever I go on vaca or to another house. Its always dries my face tho :/
Tony H : You should consider buying a white noise machine. I have one by Avantek, which I use nightly, and a portable one by Marpac. (They're both very small and easy to travel with, but the latter device can be charged.) I used to use a fan, but it bothered my fiancee the same way it bothers you, so I looked for an alternative. 😊

Yup, red tones are proven to increase melatonin production in the body, so it makes you sleepier, the opposite of blue.

Maria! I love the idea of this video with soft lighting sometimes it's pretty hard to fall asleep with the white light from my phone even if I have night mode on, softer lighting definetly helps to not strain the eye!

Have you tried UA-cam's black colour scheme instead of white? Not everyone likes it but it might be worth a go

Hey Maria, I just wanna thank you because I've recently had an operation to remove a vascular ring, with is where an artery is wrapped around my esophogus, which should have been detected when I was a baby but I was diagnosed with all different things while growing up. When I was in hospital I was in the worst pain ever because I had a chest tube going through from my back, which means I had to lay on it, and it was so uncomfortable, I also had to get waken up ever 4 and 6 hours for the nurses to take my blood pressure and give me paracetamol and ibruprofen. When ever I had the chance to sleep I played your ASMR videos and they helped me sleep. Now I am at home and I still can't do any physical activity for 6 more weeks and it hurts to lay on my left side, and it hurts to move a lot. I listen to your ASMR to help me sleep. You have been a major part on my road to recovery. Thank so so much Maria. xx

Maria, I want send you a big thank you hug. I found ASMR through your channel, and really loved it. And over the last few weeks, I finally realized why I love it. My mom was just diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. So now I know why she wasn’t a nurturing presence in my life. I love ASMR because I get to experience what I imagine it’s like to have a mom soothe you when your stressed, tuck you into bed, and make you feel safe and cozy. I have a baby daughter, and this is going to sound crazy, but I feel like ASMR taught me how to soothe and comfort her. Thank you for helping me experience this kind of cozy love and care so I can give it to my daughter!

I love white noise i can only sleep with a fan on other wise it takes me forever to sleep its to the point where i take my little fan or if going on vacation i take my humidifier with me people think its weird but its how i sleep

Tony H : You should consider buying a white noise machine. I have one by Avantek, which I use nightly, and a portable one by Marpac. (They're both very small and easy to travel with, but the latter device can be charged.)
I used to use a fan, but it bothered my fiancee the same way it bothers you, so I looked for an alternative. 😊
