USC Asia Pacific Museum (May 2023)

The USC Asia Pacific Museum, located in Pasadena, California, was founded in 1971 by the Pacificulture Foundation and houses 15,000 pieces of art from Asia and the Pacific Islands. The structure, known as "The Grace Nicholson Building," was built in 1926 and resembles an imperial Chinese palace. Grace Nicholson (1878-1948) was an art collector and dealer. She lived within the museum and donated the structure to Pasadena in 1943 for art and cultural purposes. This video features some of the many exhibits from the USC Asia Pacific Museum.
