You've always been a big supporter of SCCA and I remember you presenting me with my class winning trophy many years ago. Also enjoyed you at NHIS driving a spec. racer. Then you drove my new Corvette as someone had locked the keys in the pace car. So you drove my new C4 Corvette and rode shotgun. What a blast that was.
I'm loving this! We should post this on SCCA's web page for all to see; I'm sharing it on our New England TNIA page! I love your continuing enthusiasm for the SCCA. Maybe see you in an SRF3 in New England soon...? We're hosting a Regional at TSMP on the 13th... ;)
Thanks for making this video mike. I have competed in several track night in America events this season. Im currently driving my 2019 vw jetta with the cam 2 graphic package with Janet Guthrie's #68 and name on the car as a tribute to her. I enjoy watching you cover NASCAR and other auto events.
We started in 1980's SCCA class SS/C in a German built Ford Fiesta. We made the run offs our 2nd year. We ended our racing in AS with a Datsun 280zx that was built by Holman Moody!!! Car was heavy but maybe the safest AS car on the track!!!! Thanks
the owner of that red miata was going crazy with you doing the video with his car. you could not have picked a better car from under that tent for that shot lol.

Great presentation Mike. I’m saving watching ALL the Run Off vids at VIR for THANKSGIVING Day.

Thanks Mike. I started racing 50+ years ago, also in a Bugeye Sprite. Still follow H production.

We spoke to him and his father right after and had a great conversation. Hope they did well!
Thanks to Mike Joy for coming to the SCCA Runoffs and making this video.
Loving the new channel. Thanks Mike
Gosh that SPEED shirt brings back
I may not be an ameteur racer, but I have taken a few corners too fast in my Firebird.
This dude is the spiritual successor to Chris Economaki!
It was actually Ken Squier that became Chris Economaki's successor before Mike Joy became the next one.
Well done, young man!
GT1 run nascar engines 800+ hp 😎
Is that a speed shirt mike
Yes!
Nice i miss the days of nascar on speed
Looks fun
