It's people who have never played it. Is it "doom" not really, is it good? Hell yeah its good. When this came out, out heads melted. The lighting was years ahead of everything at the time. Even the graphics were light years ahead. People just wanted another Doom 1, like Doom 2 instead they tried something new, which was brave. It's a good game. The best Doom? Hell no, but it's worth playing by far
P.S. the Main issues people had, (the flashlight being numbers 1, 2, 3, and 69. Are easily fixable with the Duct tape mod. So many good mods out there to make this game more to your liking people. Give it a shot. It's worth it!

So that’s explains why in the original Doom 3 in the hallway where the elevator is off line 22:20 because of that secret where the big city is of MARS CITY, that is one big of surprise to see that, if only they added that in the Doom 3 remake it will be much fun.
That's... not entirely correct. That was just a dead end that this mod, which is totally unofficial, used up as a connection to the core game. id has nothing to do with it.
Watching the intro to this I get the feeling that the game is just the girl's imagination as she recalls killing our man and it's just her mind breaking from the shock
unfortunately youtube is very slow to get this all quality settings ready..... from 'phobos episode 2' edit: it can take days or even weeks for everything to get completed
although the new version came one week later than what we played it... and there are not many differences in this versions like the shotgun skin it has been changed and a few bug fixes are included from the episode v2.0 version the fact is that the original shotgun skin is in my opinion better looking than the version 2.0.. it has more blue colors
@@simok4183 maybe, but they fixed the painted characters with actual 3D models, and they gave Samantha Miles a homemade character model as opposed to reusing Elizabeth McNeil from RoE. Do you think you could play through both the updated Ep1 and 2 again, but this time with full exploration and all interactions and dialogue? And in one video?
you're right it had more changes even though the autosave feature is good for someone and for me it's a problem and you can easily save it yourself by pressing the F5 key and F9 key it reloads your savegame... it can be done in real time without having to go to the next place where is autosave trigger... i can't record more than 3+ hours of videos, the problem is that the file size is very big .... like (Phobos Episode 2 video the file size was 58GB...)

I liked it for the HORROR atmosphere it had, in fact it had some of the scariest atmospheres and ambiences in any game.

Haven't played this and only watched a few min of footage, but so far this mod makes the original version look incredibly simplistic.

I just realized something, this was played before the updated version of Episode One was released with Episode Two.
