Thank you so much! I spent a lot of time taking photos and videos with the Pixel 7a, I have to say that in well lit scenarios the image quality is very good. I also love the integration of the AI features. It is an amazing phone but I feel like the lack of full manual mode with proper shutter speed adjustments as well as ISO etc doesn't make it the king for me throughout all the phones. . Once a scene doesn't have enough light I get inconsistent results, some photos come out good and some just look like 4/10. So for those cases, I would really love to have full manual controls which are not available as of right now. Maybe it is different with the Pixel 7pro but it is the case with 7a. But I think it very much can be the King among affordable and budget-friendly options
great review man also photos of moving objects would be good to show because some models have issues in that department like Z10. Anyway pixel does a very good job with its camera and it has very interesting modules for photo/video at a very good price.

I want a Pixel because the colors are a lot more natural than those of the S23 (landscape photography), but I'm not sure if I should pay for the Pixel 8 or just take the 7a. The 8 Pro or 7 Pro is too big for me (and also expensive). The only other option I have is a Xiaomi 13.
My partner literally just bought me one of these, I haven't had a mobile phone in over 10 years and it's purely for the camera! I wish I could afford to get the gimble too, but it's like £133 on sale, still too expensive for me at the moment, will have to wait till xmas which is a shame because I am off on holiday in Oct, I am very pleased though.

They lied about many features that were only working in USA and nowhere else in the world, the audio recording was HORRRRRRRRIBLE (detects everything except speech as noise) and the camera for an android power user and photography enthusiast was missing so much, I might as well have been using an iPhone. The 7a here looks very promising in comparison. Does the 7pro now have the same features?
Hey, had a question on s23u expert raw feature. On auto mode ISO could have the lowest value of 10 but on the manual mode the lowest value is 50. Is there any settings that I'm missing?
Past two months i am struggling with network issue . Two times sent to service centre as per instruction by Google support team eventhough they know the issue but returned the device mentioned that everything is perfect. Basic functions of phone is not fulfilled. Otherwise everything is excellent.
Yep that’s what I thought too. Do not see the point in it to be honest, the quality drop on the Pixel 7a is too much for the footage to be used, don’t you think?

A 100%, I thought the magic eraser on Pixel 7a only works for removing people from the photo, turns out it works for removing tramway wires as well, and it does that automatically 😳
Please make a video about Pixel 7..it has got more videography modes like Pan, Cinematic etc, Badly wanted to see those results in your Unique style of filming
I think it’s a pretty decent phone yes, I’ll be posting a new Pixel 7a camera video hopefully this Sunday, maybe it will clear up some of the questions, so stay tuned😊
I love the ai features and editing photo on this phone. Also the speakers are better than I expected. The camera is nice though when the lighting isn’t sufficient then it produces inconsistent results(meaning you take the same shot 2-3 times and it can look a bit different) But maybe it’s just the software. Also it does get quite warm when heavy using it, like I was screen recording and using the ai features, and it got quite hotter then I think it should but to be honest. The battery life is good, I get the full day of use, I’m not playing games or do anything of that sort on it, but I do take a lot of photos, so that’s good. The main downside for me is the memory limit, I think I filled up 50% of its memory in 5 days haha 😅 but there’re cloud options for that. I’m not sure how this is important for you? So far I’d say that Pixel 7a is a good phone

Battery is alright, it does get quite hot during the extensive use, but the battery is good enough for a full day of use for me. I will be posting more Pixel 7a comparisons against the iPhone 14 pro soon 🫡
One question: all videos look staggering, like if they’re skipping some frames here and there. Is it really that way or you had frame rate problems adding clips to this UA-cam video? Because they look very, very bad. :\

I think its because the auto mode lowers artificially the lowest ISO. But I could be wrong

I believe it switches to the wide angle lens anything under 1x.
