to everyone out there that will not be the last flight of the cf-100, i am currently trying to get a cf-100 from a museum i work at into fling condition again. just for all you aviation people out there
It'll be hard to get one flying again as I heard they cut the bolts that would prevent them from flying, effectively clipping thier wings. But, if you do get one flying again I would tip my hat to you sir. You would have my eternal gratitude.
@@blackfire3744 well get that hat ready because i dont care about what anyone says (not even my future wife/girlfriend) i will get a cf-100 flying even if i have to spend all my money on it. but yea i have a goal and it will happen so i will do it. also thanks mate
Best luck to you, I find these craft a important part of canadian identity. We are not a post national country like Trudeau would have people believe and the Cf 100 along with our contributions globally to world peace are something unique to Canada and a source of national pride

@@ggallin713 thx mate and ill make sure my team gets it done for sure.
my dad flew her too in the Belgian Air Force, was a great plane
I built a model CF-100 once! Great plane.
I have one.
That was My Dad Captain George Greff . ... We were in 2 - Wing , Metz and later in 3- Wing ...
Don I flew and worked with your father at P&WC. Wonderful man.
Was he ever concerned about its ejection seat, which would sometimes randomly eject the pilot uncommanded or had that been fixed?
This may not be the last Cf-100 to fly, there is a team that is restoring one to flight status.
Thanks for sharing
I refuelled a CF-100 in CFB North Bay in the late 1970's. I believe that 414 Squadron flew the last CF-100 and CF-101 (EF-101B).
You are correct. That black CF-100 flew several years after this "last" flight.
Damn, should have been the Arrow
Just saw one at the Canadian Warplane Museum in Hamilton. Do not know if it is cĺose to flying or if it can ever fly again.
I have seen the one on a pedestal in Dundas (just outside of Hamilton), it was too cool.
Sorry, my mistake, it was the similar T-33
There is one on a just Northeast of the Toronto airport on Derry road before goreway
Imagine if they just suddenly decided to shower Montreal with rockets on its last flight just for kicks and to say it had flown a combat mission.
Funny how this plane is on #PlaneSavers with #MikeyMcBryan
not the one flying but the one in the background of 0:47
I was born in the wrong time 😢 60 years late
Superior to the F-89.
