I'm ever glad I stumble into videos , so much learning in a short time , thank you... I might be asking to much, could you do ( It's Not Unusual , Tom Jones, ). its just a question.
Beautiful. I, however, cannot get my old habits and my brain around to do the double-upstrum in the riff, so I just play them as U-D. Cheating, but it sounds close enough and this way, I can actually sing along without stumbling. Thank you for doing this!
Great job. This video helped me a lot. One thing I noticed after watching your lesson and playing along with the recording: you can get a little bit better banjo effect on the G chord by using a barre F chord on second fret. That way I didn't have that open G string ringing all the time, and it's still possible to work that fifth fret A with your pinky. It also makes the "roll" a little easier because you can just hit open F then barre F sharp, barre G. I am still working on that A minor though. So far it looks like a palm mute is necessary to damp the open strings.
Hi, thanks for the teaching of this awesome song. How can i get the chord sheet? I tried to get it but says pending downloading. Is this free or do i have to subscribe to Patreon? Thanks😊
Hi, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm not sure why it's not working for you, the link worked for me. Maybe you could try a different route. This link will take you to a list of my chord sheets and you can scroll down to get to this one: mattargo.wordpress.com/tabs-and-chord-sheets/
Nice job Matt - There's just 2 teensy improvements I'd suggest. First - the strumming pattern starts on an up on each bar & is in 4s rather than 3s - ie: 4-1----4-1-1 -> U-D-U-D---D U-D-U-D---U-U Technically it starts on the off beat - which gives it the nice bouncy feel. (It can help to just keep your right hand moving up & down rhythmically, only contacting strings when you need to - it's easier to keep the feel) And of course you accent the add-on notes at the end of each U-D-U-D pattern. Second - G-Am-Am-G is the correct progression, but the add-on note on the G before the turnaround is the 6th & not the 5th. G=0232 G5=0235 | Am=2000 Am(add9)=2002 | Am=2000 Am (add9)=2002 | G=0232 G6=0432
Thanks for the Printable fingerboard arrangement. That makes it easy to follow.

Thanks, great idea!
Awesome love it! Good tutoral. Wondering what it would sound like on a banjo uke?
Thanks, it would probably sound great! The original was played on a banjo after all.

I love it. Thanks for posting. But I feel I should point out....YOU HAD A BANJO-LELE IN THE BACKGROUND!
Haha yeah! I guess that would have been a better choice for this song!
Beautiful, could you please make a tutorial of Brian May's Good Company? Please. Thanks
Thank you, I will consider it!
