Like a-ringin' a bell!! Thanks!!!
Thank you for watching :)
Great lil solo Damìàn
Thanks for watching Malcolm :)
Jimmy Bryant!! Way to give some love to one of the often overlooked greats of his era!
Thanks for watching John. Jimmy is definitely one the greatest players ever. :)
こんにちは good lesson
ありがとうございました :)
Damian, I love your channel! I'm currently trying to learn the solo from "Black Slacks" by Joe Bennett and The Sparkletones but it's a bit challenging because the tuning is somewhere between A and Bb. I would very much appreciate it pretty pretty please with sugar on top if you'd make a video with tabs to the solo in standard tuning. Thank you!
Thanks for watching Mike. Black Slacks is a personal favorite of mine. I'll write down your request into my request book. Thanks for the suggestion. :)
@@Damianblf Thanks, man. I think I was able to figure most of the solo out but who knows? Its tough to learn a solo by ear when it's in between keys. I appreciate you.
Love Jimmy Bryant. Do you remember an early rock-n-roller by the name of Macy Skipper? He did 'Bop pills'. Just a great tune all around. I have a Squier 50s vibe Tele which I love. I just wanted to ask about the neck radius of your Guild Manhattan. Is it unusually chunky? For some reason I have the hands of newt, but am really intrigued by the Guild. Just wondering if it's a good fit.
I really like my Guild X-175 Manhattan. I like how it looks, sounds and feels. The neck is a vintage soft U-shaped profile. Thanks for watching the video.
D, Another great choice, You now have an Amazing collection of FREE lessons on your You Tube Channel. Let’s go people Support this Man and his Smoking Guitar Riffs, buy his current Rockabilly and Blues DVD’s/Downloads Maybe just maybe there is another one coming down the road 🤩. Thank You for trying to improve guitar players everywhere
Thank you so much for the kind words and for all the support. It really does mean a lot. Keep on rockin' my friend. :)
Didn't even have to listen to hit like. Just had to see two names: "Damian Bacci" and "Jimmy Bryant."
Thank you Doug :)
Yes! The slow zoom to the face close up is back!!!
Thanks for watching Danny :)
Thank you thank you thank you ! For the great lesson, inspiring words and positive vibes! Btw the ultimate rockabilly course is just amazing! Looking forward for the second part. keep it up
Thank you very much Alessandro for the kind words & support. It really means a lot. Cheers :)
Jimmy Bryant was one of Fender’s first superstar endorsers. I always thought he used flatwounds on his Teles but I later learned he used round wounds. His duets with Speedy West on steel were incredible! Thank you for this!!
Thanks for leaving a comment and thank you for watching the video. :)
Superb , going to enjoy learning to this thanks Damian 👍
Thanks for watching :)
Great solo Damian! I've learned so many of your lessons and it's made a real difference to my playing. Your Rockabilly and Jump blues DVDs are essential study and pretty much guarantee to make you a better improviser if you make the effort to learn, absorb and analyse all the licks in different keys and positions. Fantastic stuff. Thank you for all you do. Cheers. Guy.
Thank you Guy for the kind words my friend and for all your support. It really means a lot. Cheers :)
Thanks Mr. Bacci! Great stuff!
Thank you David :)
You are wonderfull !...I love your lesson guitar ....I live in France .
Thank you very much :)
Quality boss, I will be learning this one tomorrow, song included, many thanks.
😎🎙🎸✅
Thank you Julian. :)
FUGAZI!!! (Great lesson, btw, as always!)
Thank you Paul :)
Django was Jimmy's main influence. BTW, have any of Django's moves made an appearance in rockabilly. Of course, Django influenced jump blues. Indeed, Charlie Christian was well versed in Django's music and could play some of his solos note-for-note.
Thank you for watching & thanks for the comment. :)
Damian, I think I'd watch your videos even if I didn't learn from them, you're such an upbeat guy
Thank you Tom :)
Damian, you're an insanely good player and your musical tastes are impeccable. The best player on UA-cam. Wish you were in Gainesville. I'll be checking out your lessons. I hope you're doing well.
Thank you very much for the kind words. Glad you're enjoying the lessons. :)
Just curious Damian, do you read music? I would think the players you emulate so well, Jimmy Bryant, Charlie Christian, etc would be very difficult to transcribe via notation. I'll be downloading your lessons asap. I love your choice of guitars. The Guild Manhatten is right up my alley. It looks like it has a really chunky neck which would be a problem for my wee little hands. Still, it's perfect for jump blues, rockabilly and country-esque licks.
Take care, and keep posting your knowledge on YT.
One of MY FAORITE solos out there!
Mine to Pat. Thanks for watching. :)
You rock Damian, your lessons have knocked down the doors for me and have provided that "lightbulb moment" in regards to understanding what I have always heard in my head but have not been able to articulate on the fretboard
That's awesome & thank you for watching the lessons. Glad to hear the videos have helped you. Cheers :)
Great lesson, Jimmy Bryant was amazing. Great t-shirt too
Thank you Nick :)
Always look forward to these videos, thx for another one :-)
Thank you :)
WOOOOW~ Thank you for doing such a superb lesson on Jimmy Bryant! I've always wanted someone to do that! And thanks for your generous time and energy in creating a lesson with tabs, sir!
Hello people , double-dipping here. Check out Guitar World Brian setzer article from two days ago 11/10/21.
pink cadillac好き!
ギターレッスン素晴らしい
Teletastic!
Thanks for the thumbs-up. I was afraid it might be a bit lame. But the guitar work was fantastic and on a telecaster for change ( fav all around guitar)
Thank you for watching. :)
Love the history, the Jimmy Bryant lesson and the philosophy advice. Also, the Fugazi ( an Ian MacKaye band ) tshirt is awesome too.
Thank you John :)
Not really a very useful lead solo to learn, its very difficult and useless
How do i find the tab, awesome solo !!!!
Il faudrait mettre le tempo .
Damian, you should listen to the solo on the B-side called Some Like it Hot. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Its so far ahead of what everyone else was doing at the time
Yes, that solo is absolutely incredible. Jimmy was so talented on the guitar. Always a pleasure to listen to him. :)
Thanks Damian for the great lesson as always. Your fingering and attack are so clean and spot on that it makes it sound like you couldn't miss if you tried. I recently bought a new Telecaster Ultra from Sweetwater and I can't put it down, so this is my lick of the day.
Thank you very much for the kind words. Enjoy your new Tele. :)
Thanks again Damian for this 'super cool workout' you truly are one of the best Rockabilly syle guitarists on the planet!!
Thank you Peter for the very kind words. :)
That Sammy Masters recording is one of the koolest of all time!
Having had Bryant play the takeoff makes it even kooler!
Thanks for watching :)
Just a tremendous lesson and such a tasty solo. Be well Damian, you rock!! 🤠
Thank you my friend. Cheers :)
Thanks Damian, you’re the best😊🎉
Thank you for watching :)
Damian, you nailed another great video. Jimmy Bryant's playing was incredibly fast, clean, and sounded perfect on about everything I've ever heard him play. His work with Speedy West was simply jaw dropping! I always loved his pick guard artwork too. Great video!
Thank you very much Paul. I'll be doing more Jimmy Bryant lessons in the near future. :)
@@Damianblf Can't wait! Take care.
Hehe! sent well in Portuguese aee my noble! Thanks dude!

I think this is the first time I’ve seen you playing a Tele Damian.
I don't play my Tele very often, but this guitar has appeared in a handful of my lessons. Thanks for watching Timothy. Much appreciated. :)
Another great lesson with a little encouragement at the end.. something we all can use! 🤙
Thank you John :)
