Every time I'm looking for a guide or beginner thing for a character, it's always some crazy stuff or exclusively combos, when what I'm really looking for is stuff like gameplan and what the use cases are for certain moves I'm not sure about. This is great, exactly what I needed for Akuma.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video kind sir. That was me today with the crouching LP, LP to MK and I got my ass handed to me. So frustrating! I'll be using MP moving forward. You did a great job explaining it too, no BS just facts very nice 👍
@@woof9408 most don't make a mistake. He's too fast, and a lot of attacks lunge him forward, his combos are very strong and long. He can deplete your own drive meter very quickly. His 1000- health is not as big as you think it is compared to his entire kit. Also, you can drive impact his demon raid but you have to time it very quickly or you always will get hit. He's honestly more annoying than ken is. I've been fighting 12 akumas in a row, some diamonds I have beat but really his health is no big deal lol. His damage output and reach needs to be nerfed. His pressure is extremely too quickly for him to even make a mistake, and you are likely to make a mistake before he does. And when you do, you're dead.

I just came here to say bro that light hado into heavy hado has helped me tremendously and made a lot of people rage quit, I know people who don’t care to play him are sick 😂😂😂
For the demon buffer, you can actually hide the inputs inside the drive rush cancel for cleaner inputs. You want to press punch at the same time you double tap to cancel your normals into a drive rush. ->LP ->LP -> LK HP
I feel so bad for Akuma players 😭 I was playing Marisa and hit him once with a St. mp, then did a 88% combo on his ass😭 (yes this is extremely practical off DP punish)
Amazing work man, I was initially looking forward to Akuma because he's been my main since SF4 but when I was playing his SF6 version, I just wasn't enjoying it as much as I thought I would but this video has rekindled my Akuma love and for that I thank you. P.S. Any tips for landing the cr mk into DRC into Demon?
Hard to say for sure of course, but I don't see why not right now. He really feels like he has all the tools you'd need. The only weaknesses felt like his low health (which never really stops Akuma from being top tier in SF games) and his Drive rush didn't feel all that great.
Hey guys. He said "probably" top tier. Loooooooooool... Hes the only s+ I keep fighting akumas non stop. He is insane. Imo, some of his attacks are too far reach, that's really the only annoying issue. Also his fireballs are fucking fast and his ability to dp after a fireball that quickly... That's what Ryu should be able to do.
If your opponent is preemptively trying to jump before you even did the demon, then no command grab will work. It would be super broken if you could guarantee a command grab. But if the opponent presses jump after you did your demon, they can't jump out. It's a guess on the opponents end. Holding up preemptively in that situation would get them hit by other things. Easy way to test it is to record an Akuma doing it to you and try to jump after the screen flash of demon.

Are you sure the YOLO 2MK>DRC, Raging Demon works? I set dummy to Jump on Block and even slowed down to 50% but couldn't get it to land.
