1. Clear the pathway
- remove all known sin
2. Exercise patience
- wait to hear God
3. Be alert to pressure
- dont be moved by pressure from people or circumstances or even internal pressure
4. Persist in prayer
- keep praying about the situation
5. Rest in Gods promises
- meditate on the Word of God as you wait for Gods guidance
6. Wait for the peace
- the peace of God passes all understanding

I have discovered that when I study the Bible I am studying God.
1.Clear the pathway of our sins and strong desires.

It just came to me that my relationship with God is like a big quilt He is making. I am one patch on the quilt and I have my own pattern and coloring that He gave me, but I’ve been trying to be someone else’s patch and change my cut and color instead of letting Him just weave me into place in His design. Wow. God is good and I am so blessed and thankful to have Dr. Stanley in my life! Thank you!!!

How can a video intended to reach so many ALSO reach me at such a perfect time in my life? Only God can orchestrate this. “I am the first, I am the last and there is no other besides Me.” I can’t tell you how much I needed to see this as I lay down to sleep last night. Step 1 cannot be skipped and brought to mind many things that I repented of.

Absolutely amazing! God gave me a promise FOUR years ago and because I'm a visionary, it was clear as day! However, it took so long because God had to clear and clean up the path as Dr. Stanley said. See my friends...we THINK we are ready for the promise but God will expose the areas that we MUST clean up during our wait, character flaws etc. God loves us so much so he makes us wait because if he releases blessings too soon, we will ruin it. Also, if you have done YOUR work, God may still be working on and clearing the path of the other thing/ person. Hold on guys because acceleration season is finally here! I believe in you!!!

I've been listening to Dr. Charles Stanley's cassette tapes since 1992! His wonderful sermons have helped to guide me in many areas of my life. His spiritual advice has helped me to hate sin and seek God to an even deeper commitment. I can hardly wait to thank him in Heaven! I LOVE my Savior Jesus!

GOD'S BLESSINGS AND GRACE TO ALL.
What a lot of Pastors fail to mention in their message sermons (including mine) is this; A lot of people don't know how to have God's peace rule their hearts. They don't know how to gain God's strength. They don't know how to recieve these things and keep them. I'm going to tell you how. As a new believer in Christ or even if you have been a believer for a while, but still don't have God's peace ruling in your heart or have not gained His strength. Carefully, read what I'm about to tell you on how to really receieve these things from God. God's Word. That's it! Study and meditate in God's word twice daily, and become a prayer warrior. That's how you receive these things from God. You see, at first you may not percieve anything, but when you constantly meditate in His word twice daily and pray to Him, then you will have these things over time. You need to grow "Spiritually." The true test will come to test your faith. When that happens, then you'll percieve His peace ruling your heart and have His strength. :) I know because of my experience of being a Christian 17 years. One year when I worked at Dollar Tree, we had a very severe storm and all of a sudden a bolt of lightning shot through the sky, and then in a second a loud boom thunder came, and one of the customers looked at me and said, "didn't that scare you?" My reply was, "No ma'am, not when you have the peace of God ruling in your heart." That comment put a smile on her face. But when she heard that loud boom thunder, she nearly jumped out of her skin! lol!! So, to make a long story short; when you have the peace of God ruling in your heart and His strength, nothing in this world really phases you. And those things comes from just constantly studying His word twice daily. :) That's the way to recieve these things and by studying twice daily, is the way to keep them. Psalm 119:9 says this: "How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word."
In other words, how can a young believer in Christ stay pure in the heart and mind, by carefully studying, and meditating in Your (God's) word. (this refers to matured believers as well). Joshua 1:8 says this: "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. :)
In other words, The Book of the Law is considered God's word. The Holy Bible. He wants us to studying it night and day, just like I said, twice daily. When we do this we are to obey it as well and THEN, I repeat-->THEN! Then we will make our way prosperous and have good success wherever we go and whatever we do in life. :) So that is how you get His peace to rule your heart and His strength. But you MUST keep studying the word and pray in order to keep His peace and strength. God bless. :)
