    Great interview. Grew up on a diversified farm. Code for work year round. This is something farmers desperately need. A hydro tractor would be easier but with about a 25% energy penalty the gear drive makes sense. Have reservations about no pack temperature control but understand why. Kudos Monarch.
    Wheat, corn, soy use big tractors with huge tires or tracks to mitigate soil compaction. I can see these guys moving away from these near million dollar tractors to a fleet of relatively affordable lightweight autonomous units. Think a robot field worker. Tilling wastes moisture. Pull the weeds. No need for huge batteries and more manageable charging needs.

    It has been on sale for a couple years. Is it actually solid state? Who is Dr. Akria Yoshino?
