ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

Girl...you are so lucky. I wish I could have a beer with him. Hes such a great singer and has inspired me to try. I've had so many people tell me I need to try, but was conflicted because I didnt see many people like me in the industry. Luke came along, and my big ass self was like, alright then, I'm goin for it.

Luke Comb is a great artist. The funny thing is he auditioned for the TV show The Voice. The Producers passed him up. Now he is a huge country artist. That's is just awesome.
Makes me cry everytime. Reminds me of my babygirl, a German Shorthaired pointer named Bella. May she rest easy, this song perfectly sums her up too. It’s beautiful.
From a born and bred Texan...never stop doing the accent! I love hearing and seeing your reactions to these Country songs. There is a song that I would really like to get your opinion on. I guess it would be considered Folk music. It's by a singer called "The White Buffalo". The song is called "The Whistler". It is an incredibly powerful song about a soldier dealing with severe PTSD. It's disturbing and beautiful all at the same time. The video is of an acoustic session at Guitar Center. His voice is very unique.
My wife is paraplegic and this is the song we took our first dance to as Mrs and Mrs. She had doubts about us being in a wheelchair but i took all her doubts away when i picked her up in my arms and we danced. Its a moment we will always remember. Not only the smile on her face but the tears in everyones eyes just made it a moment to never forget.

Darlin I am a Southern American and live in Tennessee and when you do the accent it puts a smile on my face. Sometimes when other things cant. So you do you and don't worry what others think. Its cute lol. Love your reactions. Never change that bubbly and kind personality you have.

music makes me cry all the time- even songs I have heard 100 times.
Luke is one of the coolest, down to earth, and humble guys you will ever meet. He's just your every day guy. He's set so many records in country the past few years since coming in to the scene.

I have always been emotional when it comes to music. Maybe its from being a piano performance major and being classically trained. But anytime I hear music, I break out in chills and get that tightness in my throat before the tears well up. I'm with you Rebecca, the chills travel in a pattern, starting on one side of my arm, and then up the other side. :)

Hey Rebecca, if you love that emotional feeling then I have four songs. Luke combs "moon over Mexico" and "even though you're leaving" also then there's Chris Stapleton "Fire Away" and Rise Against "Hero of War" which both made me cry my eyes out and I would love to see what you think of them.

Luke really is a great guy. He was in college when he started playing guitar and writing music, and he struck gold. He's also a Tar Heel like me (North Carolina native). He played in Myrtle beach a lot before he hit it big I was fortunate enough to hear him at the boathouse a few times for free show Friday. A ton of famous country singers come thru there.

Another thing to add, if you could please do some more of Luke? As stated hes my idol, and I dont exactly base my voice off of his, but I've been told by many that my voice seems oddly familiar to his. I'd like to see what you think of some of his other music.

Just watching this now in June, but you really nailed and focused on Luke Combs' biggest attribute - His likability. He's an incredible singer, but it's cool that you identified his down-to-earth-lovableness almost immediately and had trouble getting off that. Good job!

As a person that lives in Texas, it’s funny hearing somebody else do a southern accent, and being Mexican I always get that my accent and voice don’t go with how I look hahah 😂 country music is in my top 3 music genres
Hmm, well, if you're looking for a song that hits a lot of people emotionally it's Craig Morgan's newest song. He's a country singer who lost his son a few years ago. He stopped making music, of course, until last year when he woke with this song running through his head & he wrote it down. He sung it to his family & ended up singing it at a small venue which then led to him performing it at the Grand Ole Opry, after singing it he said he didn't think he could sing it again or sing it again live & people told him he needs to share it. Other celebrities like Blake Shelton started tweeting about it, telling people it needs to get to number one on the Country Charts, then other celebrities started sharing it & it went viral! It's honest & so personal, it's really amazing & it went number one in the all-genre chart on Itunes! Both the live performances & the official video are amazing! Craig Morgan - The Father, My Son & The Holy Ghost.
Ok so Luke Combs is amazing !! Every single song he writes is fantastic! A great follow up review would be for his song called "1,2 many". Its a rollicking party tune ,basically talking about once its get 1 beer in him ,he cant stop partying . The hook in it is amazing . Very clever. Maybe the best party song ever, of any genre. You want the live version of it . Thanks for reviewing some country! YEEE HAWWWW !!!!!!
