First time I heard this, my attention haven't went to their visuals... it went towards the scenes of them crying, confused, suicide, trapped, that huge human web like dance formation and, their sad facial expressions. This song is hella depressing. I mean the vibe and the scenes in this are sad and makes me wonder what's the reason. The dance is one step above than the wannabe, specially that human web choking scene. It's beautiful but it isn't sexy... it's dark, really dark and filled with emotions. This song has lots of high notes throughout the whole song. Not many BG songs have these high notes nor not many male singers able to hit high notes perfectly. What shocked me about this group, even Jangjun as the main rapper could hit the high notes nicely while he is the main rapper. Still so amazed by that. Golden Child has a lot of potential as a group

Because kpop favor short songs (usually 3-3,5min) Since they have a dance break following the chorus, and this song is not fast-paced the verse takes time to build up, I imagine it could easily be a 4,5-5 min song. There's usually a bridge-chorus to follow the second chorus, which this song doesn't have. Probably producer cut down on some parts? idk they can just put out like a full version and a broadcast version instead...

This song is hella depressing. I mean the vibe and the scenes in this are sad and makes me wonder what's the reason.
The dance is one step above than the wannabe, specially that human web choking scene. It's beautiful but it isn't sexy... it's dark, really dark and filled with emotions. The vocals even give that sad, haunting vibe to it.
Even this MV must have a huge story going on and I don't understand anything.

For those wondering: this song was composed/produced by BLSSD, formerly known as Bee, of the producer duo Rphabet. BLSSD has mostly done songs for Infinite, as well as the song WANNABE by Golden Child, and while in Rphabet, did some of Infinite's best/most successful songs, such as The Eye, Back, and Destiny, as well as Time's Up by Miss A, and I'll Wait For You by Rainbow, among a number of other songs.
This song's composition and production really stand out to me, and it makes sense since Rphabet made some of my favourite kpop songs already.

The silence threw me totally off guard and I love the interesting melodylines and entrancing instrumentals during the 'without yououououoou' (get it? Is it the chorus? With both Wannabe and this song I get confused about what's pre chorus and what's chorus which is interesting imo)

Since they have a dance break following the chorus, and this song is not fast-paced the verse takes time to build up, I imagine it could easily be a 4,5-5 min song. There's usually a bridge-chorus to follow the second chorus, which this song doesn't have.
Probably producer cut down on some parts? idk they can just put out like a full version and a broadcast version instead...
