I think one point u missed to highlight is the recent hike in electricity cost ..it's a killer for everyone ...I Also live in London and a victim of this:)
UK is best for Indians unlike other European countries. You do every religious and cultural celebration here with all the flavour and enthusiasm. And do not forget free healthcare.
When you reach sixty, all your medicines are free, your train and bus travel are free, and when you reach sixty seven, you also get pension. Everybody gets pension here unlike in India where only government servants get pension. And the hospitals here are like five star hotels where you get the best treatment and that is also absolutely free. Need I say more?
Are you mad? How can you compare UK with Dubai? Here you become a cleaner and your minimum salary is more than thousand rupees per hour. You earn more, you pay more tax. And after a certain number of years, you become citizen here. You cannot get citizenship in Dubai even after thirty years. People who cannot come to the west, end up in Arab countries.
One more point. People here consider all jobs same. They dont look down upon you depending on your job, bank balance, cloths etc. Equal respect for all jobs. They dont talk rude to "small" people. My landlords owns multiple houses, drives posh red AUDI but comes and fixes house issues of bathroom or roof or kitchen or garden himself. Doesnt feel ashmed of doing small job at all. Whether you are working at mall or doing plumbing or electric or garbage collection or any other small work, nobody makes you feel inferior. They respect all jobs equally. Nobody pulls the rank stating "तू जानता नहीं मैं कौन हूँ" :)
One of my teacher friend once told me that he never had any Indian female student who wanted to be nurse. Indians love to be treated by a skilled nurse when they are ill but they hate their daughter to be one of them. Indians are very very judgemental people.
Very informative blog. We visited our Son in London a few months back, and our views are same on most points. One point of concern is that if a visitor on tourist visa falls ill or is injured, the NHS does not cover it, and the medical expenses, doctors fee is exorbitant. Medical Insurance does not cover much, and is only for namesake. Any how congratulations for the blog.
Nice Video. I had been UK before 12 years. I have visited London, Birmingham, Leicester. I was living in Tamworth( Staffordshire), Crawley(West Sussex). I was working in Crawley and Horley.
Language could be a problem for some, but if you speak moderate English, talk to your neighbours. Go to the nearest public library. And keep an eye on the website of the Indian organisations here such as Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Nehru centre and many others.
Both of you have put a lot of hard work in preparing this vlog. Very informative and entertaining. Do prepare a vlog comparing Salaries for similar jobs India and UK, expenses and Savings. And also scope of Investment
With one fifth of the salary, you will be better off in India than in UK. Tax is very high in UK and you pay flat 20 percent VAT on everything you buy. You cannot afford a maid unless you are rich. A maid will cost you one thousand Indian rupees per hour minimum. Hence middle class people cannot afford one. Someone will come to cut your grass and you pay at least fifteen hundred rupees per hour. That is why most people do all the house work themselves as much as they can.
Prashant is right People in London are very polite and they do not interfere or r not curious about what others r doing. If u approach or ask them something they do reply to the best of their knowledge.Khub bhalo vlog Ritu❤️❤️
Have a Question ma'am , what's the demand for Nurses , as we've heard there's a severe shortage of healthcare professionals including Nurses in NHS....is it true ? Love from Bengal
Do you prefer London over US? I am an Indian who lived in Canada and US for 15 years and looking to move to London next year. Want to hear your genuine thoughts. FYI (I am a city person not a suburbian thats why the move)
In one of the comments, i read that hospitals r lik 5 star hotels n treatment is abs free...but in the video she was saying treatment is very expensive....which of the statements is true???
Then how it is beneficial ?? If it takes 1 month to get consultation then it is of no purpose : the patient will die if the health condition is serious .
Very well said..!! I agree with many of the points you mentioned.. people are really helpful across UK!! I love London for everything but expenses make you cry!! Duh.. 😀
Hello Ritu, loved watching this vlog from my Air Bnb room in Paddington :-) While I agree with all the pros and cons, I’ve a different take on treatment at shops. In Southall I feel the shopkeepers are impatient. If you spend more than 5 mins without buying they get anxious and don’t hesitate to tell that we are wasting their time making the shopping experience awkward. Keep up the good work.
The public transport is good when it works but there are so many strikes. I don’t think it beats flexibility of your own car however the roads here are so small and gas is expensive as well .
Wonderful and really informative vlog.. mazaa aaya. Got to know quite a bit about living in London. 👏👏👏👌👌👌👌⛄️🎊🎊🎄❄️❄️🎉🎉⛄️🎊🎄❄️🎉🎉⛄️🤗🤗happy holidays from Arizona state 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Waiting to see some more Christmas decorations London style 😊😊❄️❄️🎄🎄⛄️⛄️

Hlo mam hru....my son is (25) trying to come in u.k or London...on study ( masters)as grafic design, currently doing job in grafic design in Chandigarh,pb ......so pls suggest is it the true decision... like all expenses & load instalments etc
One year course will cost him between fifteen and twenty lakhs, depending on the university he chooses. He will be allowed to do part time work for twenty hours every week where he will earn at least eight hundred pounds a month. Depending on his taste and his habits, assuming he is a nice young man, he can manage very well with eight hundred pounds in a shared room, no smoking or drinking, and no girlfriends. At the end of this course, he will get two years PSW visa where he will be allowed to work in UK, and if his employer likes him, he can get work permit.

With so many advantages here, there are some disadvantages also. Bringing up children in the western society can be a nightmare for some people. You cannot hit a child under any circumstances. If the child tells his teacher, the police will knock at your door.
Uk bad health care system ... Not as good as I would wish, but it is thousand times better than India. Bad weather.... Agree but the summer months from June till September, are lovely. Everything is very costly now..... A cleaner here would earn one thousand rupees per hour and the same cleaner will earn hundred rupees an hour in India. Now an egg costs six rupees in India and here in UK, it costs fifteen rupees. UK is still cheaper to live compared to India when you consider the income. No quality life..... As if only in India we have all the quality.
Ritudidi 1 question hai health care kyu itna complicated hai means kyu doctors ko dikhane ke liye itna long waiting kyu? Yaha, pe doctors availability kam hai is liye. Please explain in detail 🙏. Thanks 😊 didi. In advance.
NHS was a lot better back in early 1970s. It is not free as we have to pay Nation Insurance. Ask the people in India who don't have money to pay for the medical services.
What do you think about living in London?? Let me know if you disagree with anything or if I missed any point. Dhanywaad ❤
Perfect one ! Would like a Pro that in London we get almost all types of food found in the world. 😅

Loved the vlog... Pro : Free schooling for children and as it's UK, education is provided in English unlike European schools
Thanks for adding this

Bhudape tak aadmi jiyega hi kaise ... Jab 40-50% tax jawani mai hi katega salary pe 😂😂😂
Correction: In Dubai (other gulf countries too) there is no income tax but only 5% municipal tax and vat.

Nowadays all visitors has to buy NHS insurance and every international student must get that also.
Don't feel like foreign country. So many Indians n Pakistanis bangladeshi people.. crowded in fact.

Hello guys, what would be monthly expenses for a family of 4 in Stevenage?
It's depend on your preference, on an average Rent, council tax, light, gas& water charges from 1500 to 2500 for 2 Bed rooms
@@rams674 thanks Ram.. this just for rent and utilities bill , then I can expect 1000 for food express or it may be more ?
@@TheKeshav23 £ 800 to £ 1000 for food is sufficient
@@rams674 thanks a lot, this information is really helpful.
On average you can manage with two thousand including rent and all utilities plus another thousand for food and travel.
