I had so much fun making this MOC & am super proud of how it turned out in the end. Let me know if you have any suggestions for it as I want to do a sequel to this at some point!

Awesome! Can you add a islander based faction based on Lego pirates?or many a human version of the Skywings from wings of fire? If you have read it. Queen Scarlet would look awesome as a human.
It’s cool to think that the black falcons 300 years ago lost their kingdom and went to a new land and became pirates!🏴☠️
should have been wolfes
Man, people don't realise how important piracy was in the middle ages.
"Pirates" often fought knights
True, I think it's partly because of how popular the viking age is with people. Obviously it's not quite the same as the piracy a couple centuries later but still similar enough with an aesthetic and mythos that has more general appeal.
As one example: In the Baltic you had the Victual brothers, who started out as mercenaries and/or privateers but soon went independent into "pure" piracy. They managed to take over and hold for a while the Raaseborg Castle and even the whole island of Gotland.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victual_Brothers
Heck, look to the Mediterranean. Genoa and Venice both had navies that spent time patrolling the sea for pirates, as well privateers. The Arab nations' navies, each other, and privateers from all directions
@@Goldfyre You know the word viking derives from the old Norse 'vikingr' often meaning 'pirate' or 'raider'
@@Goldfyretrue
You should make a fright knights’ ghost ship
Oooh, that’s a cool idea!
I admite the creativity, using all those medieval pieces and turning them into a pirate moc. I'm not completely sold on every choice being as 'piraty' as I'd expect, but the overall total moc looks amazing. I love the colors and contrasts and there is more than enough detail to offset the larger walls and ground parts.
I find it hilarious and perfect timing that you release this video the same day Lego is doing their Insiders/VIP weekend and they have the Eldorado Fortress on sale for about 20% off for Insiders (VIP)
Ikr lol, i went and checked the sale right after uploading this & saw it there. too bad the lion knights castle isn't on that list tho
I know you felt real smart writing the cutlass and compass line Xd
lol
Love the moc, definitely one of your best builds and videos yet. Also, is there any chance we see a new medieval city modular anytime soon? I understand that parts could be difficult to come up with at times, but I had high expectations for that series. Love the content and keep up the good work!
@Goldfyre You are just getting better and better! 🤩✨
Thank you so much :)
I've actually started my own MOC where I'm using Black Falcon and Lion's Knight aesthetics to make late 19th century armies. The Black Falcon faction is made to mimic the German state's armies and is fighting a war against the Lions in order to finally build a unified kingdom/empire with other surrounding states
that sounds sick
1:18 Perfect pirate! The castle turned out great too! Like 👍👍
Great job man.
Thank you 😁
The shoulder decorations are called "epaulettes", French for "little shoulder". 17th-19th century military uniform evolution that can help denote rank and just look snazzy 👍
Cool design my man, just want to say thank you. I'll put on your top Mocs of the month playlist when I'm building my own. I do it for inspiration and I always enjoy watching them. Keep up the great work!
No, thank you! I'm so glad you like them and i do the same with other peoples moc vids when i build these lol
Really cool video you could make it that the black falcons stretched to a tropical area and after a couple hundred years they became pirates
Very cool to see you doing some more varied stuff other than castle, and I just adore your take of the black falcons as pirates, I really wanna try it myself now!
Build turned out really nice, could double down as a cool medieval port
This is amazing! I love medieval builds that are not just the usual castles! Your pirate Falcons have such character! The Lion pirates are amazing too, I particulary love the vrewmate with the zombie quartermaster torso piece!
I'm working on a skyship with a dwarven crew, and eventually want a dock for it too, it wasn't easy on my wallet so far haha :)
imaginative mashup. because of the time periods the themes mash well.
This is a new video for the Chanel! I like it
This is a new comment for the Chanel! I like it
ur builds truly just get better and better, great job man keep it up!
Also the shoulder piece is called an Epolette as well.
epaulette
Yay! My two favorite themes, Castle and Pirates, combined! This is an incredible MOC, I love how it turned out. I really love these style of videos Goldfyre, keep them up! Also, the ad read acutally got me surprised becasue of how you inegrated it, which is rare on YT!
You’re actually my Lego idol. I just finished the D&D Lego set :D
Argh, me Falcons!
And I’ve never seen the Lion Knights look so good, and they are my sworn enemies! 👍
Yay new video!😁👍
Great stuff! The minigures are absolutely superb!
Thanks man!
I like how you kept the similarities of the original minifigures from the medieval sets yet put a pirate twist with it. Now that's imagination!
This is awesome and perfect!
My favorite technique from the Lion Knights’ Castle is the joint were 5 plates meet at the same point. Absolutely beautiful!
Amazing Build! Another amazing video as always.
Thanks 😊
Yes you should, it a amazing I love it, you should make more lego pirates moc
Looks awesome! Good job on this!
Thanks!
Looks great! 🎯
Can you make a video on how to make a medieval house with an interior because mine looks terrible
I would recommend his last video, or too look at the digital instructions for medieval town square
1:17 the shoulder pieces are called epaulettes
Really nice one!
this is my favorite moc of yours yet
I love your MOCs man🔥 You are so talented And finaly a new video
*playing pirates of the Caribbean theme* 🎶
This is great always loved the pirates (like in the barracuda bay) and would love to see another video in this style
Glad to hear it because I'm really in the Lego pirate mood now 😅
of course we want more of this!! It's amazing!!!
Love the walkway, it makes the scene more interesting! Great video!
It is a really nice creation. I feel like you, regarding having to disassemble your mocs, I don't have a big parts collection, in consequence, when I build Mocs, I tend to take apart old builds to feed the new ones need for pieces. Last one I made is based on your Rohirrim Battle-pack idea. I am very proud of how it looks.
That's why i always try and mention that i disassemble my mocs in these videos. I want people to know you can build cool mocs with a smaller collection if you reuse pieces.
Oh and i'd love to see some pics of your battle pack if you still have it
Yeah, sure, how can I send it to you??
Those studs on the wall are great for adding texture. That said… they also allow Edward from AC Black Flag to scale the wall and fight the Templars 😂
Great video!!!!!
looks sick! I love the tree and your wall technique has been perfected
Haven't seen this this channel on my homepage in a while so its nice to catch a vid within 3 min
Ayy thanks! I hope you enjoy the video :)
Ur the best goldfyre keep it up
sick moc
The Google translate of this comment is "sick too much " 🤦♂️One job,one job......
“Bangs card on table” I’ll take your entire stock
That’s awesome!!!
I hate you don't work for Lego. I love this idea and a lot of fun.
The use of the pirates of the caribbean minifigs mixed with the black falcons is a great idea.
Overall great vid bro
if this is the late 1500s we can image this is the beginning of the renecsiance
@Goldfyre pirate and castle themes are the best combo, though it makes me sad that the Europa theme never happened. You should do a moc of some of those unreleased sets only in images.
Oh? I'm not familiar with this Europa theme. I'll have to look into it.
Thanks for the heads up
Black Falcons, but a couple hundred years post Middle-Ages, this looks so good!
Ah yes, you begin with your own confusing timeline. The Goldfyre Cinematic Universe (GCU). Very nice.
lmao, i'll use the marvel excuse and call it a "multiverse" that way plot holes & poor writing can have an in universe reason!
Hey on one of your last videos asked if you were ever gonna make a Lego ship video and you said maybe but you weren’t sure so I mean this fortress would be a really good addition to a ship..so maybe. But anyways great video!
You should build fright knight ghost ship
Ooo really fun idea
Dope moc bro
Thanks :)
@Goldfyre Yooo I didn't expect you to reply thanks
Love the videos keep going
Cool premise to mix medieval and pirates together
I have a question for you, will you continue in your medieval modular city?
A couple months ago I commented for you to make a pirate video, I am not dissapointed.
The admiral torso comes on Barbosa from Stranger Tides.
Those fabric shoulder covers are called epaulets
Oh my gaaaawd! WOAHW!
the piratey shoulder thing is called a epaulette
It’s like what if pirate castle mash up we never knew we needed
smooth plug😂
i made a mariachi bard with the head of the male tiefling! :D
The pirate shoulder piece is called an epaulette
That’s is a beautiful thumbnail 😂 also loved the video but the thumbnail 🎉
Thanks lol, i actually completely changed the right side 10 mins before this video went live. I Think it looks a lot better now (before it was just zoomed in on the tower with a bit of the walkway showing)
I like to think of these as mercenaries hired by the factions to fight in their navies
My go to Castle guy already anticipated I bought the Eldorado fortress today when I spotted it was on offer so would be needing a few pirates and their base...but how? How did you know I was getting into pirates when I did not know I was getting into pirates just a few hours ago...Am I just an NPC in your simulation, am I even real, do I even exist, am I even a good character in your simulation...too many questions.
And those piratey shoulder uniform thingies are called Epaulettes, pronounced Epilets.
Great build Lord Goldfyre, clearly I must get this Lion Knights castle...you are leading further astray from the noble righteous path of trains.
Great video! This moc has a good amount of colors that pop compared to “boring” grey wall, great ratio! Btw Where is that SICK westeros map/poster from?
Thanks for asking! I don't know where it was originally sold as I got it from the thrift store but I'll do a Google reverse search for it when I get the chance and let you know
@@Goldfyreappreciate it!
Make song of roland moc frankish knights Charlemagne
Great video. FYI, The Rebrickable link is sending me to MOC - Falcon Master's Castle not the boat.
Thanks! The boat is actually part of it
You know I’ve always had the theory that the black falcons became the blue coats from the pirates theme and that the lions became the red coats
Oo i could see it
@ I would love to see the In between of the timeline with the lions and falcons as conquistadors either the using the castle torsos or the pirate ones
Those shoulder pieces are called epaulettes. Nice mash up!
Ahhh thanks
You should make ancient empires in Lego, that would be great!!
I've had the idea to do "history of ____ country in lego" for a while now so maybe!
@@Goldfyre sounds great!
Just for next time it's ''Epaulet'' for the shoulder thing
Yes
Yes
MORE PIRATES I BEG
The Length of the video is crazy
lmao
I love you’re videos.I’m making a Lego midevill fantasy world so I watch you’re videos for ideas.I might be making a youtube channel showcasing my world
You should change the cannon. That style of cannon is from when gunpowder became widespread, and since none of the other factions in your world have gunpowder weaponry you should change it, or replace it with a swivel gun (which were always popular with pirates)
Nice to see pirates getting attention
Hopefully lego makes some new pirate sets sometime soon like they've been doing with castle & space
nice
crips vs bloods
real
how did you motify the boat from the falcons master castle?? I have one and I want to make it like yours.
All i did was add a pirate wheel & some lion shields to it :)
That should be set
ayy thanks! I always try and make my mocs "feel" like official sets if that makes any sense
yes.
And now we need colonist
YARGH ME HARTIES!
LET US SAIL WHILE THE SAILS ARE HIGH! ME MATIES
YAHOO!
You might want to make the video at least 1 second longer
Nice fortress and great Minifigs! Not a fan of the ship ( I dislike custom hull ships - the hulls never look right).
Hello there my friend! :D How are you? Also what will you be doing for your next one?
I'm good! Thanks for asking, the next one will be elf themed :)
