Chandigarh is clean well maintained no industry to save jungles and hills and natural environment. Bhakhra canal clean Blu water. Factories and industris mostly cause pollution . Well planned , city lush green large gardens . Chandigarh is having proper water drainage system. No water logging in rains
Mohali was actually created by Badal Family just for earning money by acquiring land at very lown prices through private companies. They made thousand of crore through this and Fortunately due to land locking of Chandigarh and high prices and lower level of luxary in panchkula, Mohali succeeded and became a successful city. But still the resale market of Mohali in apartment as well as Plot lacks in liquidity. You can't plot easily by sitting on market rate due to more supply. Moreover most of houses are build by those people who sold their ancestral land to builders.
Gurgaon is a messy place with jobs. Chandigarh is heaven for retired people and no opportunity for youth. Plus Chandigarh is a capital of two states plus a union territory while Gurgaon is a city in Haryana. Chandigarh is far cleaner, barely crowded, very clean, Amazing traffic. I have lived in many cities in India and traveled all continents over 50 plus countries, if have to retire in any Indian city it would be Chandigarh or some nice place in Himachal. Any other Indian cities are just to work and hustle.
@adayforward yes it is good but nkt worth the hype of aerocity. Moreover payments were made in annuity for from 2009-10. And sue to huge availability of vacent plot in each sector the seller don't have control over price.
Let me make point. When we say Chandigarh- Please understand it as tricity ( Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula- Primary Mohali ). Now let me talk about area- beautiful, structured, organised with different sort of political sentiments which peaceful people do not like, you can find protest happening anywhere however its pure political. In terms of pricing, few projects are well priced few artificial inflated, as a buyer you need to study market. Now jobs, handful and with limited pay scale. Gurgaon, whatever you say has its infra challenge but doing well in terms of economic opportunity and will keep doing well as magnet effect has started playing. Choose wisely and depending on your present requirements and future projections.
People of Punjab and haryana (except NCR) to be open up with corporate culture. If propaganda based protest like Farmer protest disgraced image of punjab ,, then very few people will be able to invest in Tri-City. Mark my words no local investment can make good city. gurgaon and noida have grown potentionally well bcoz they allow oursides - Indian and NRI to settled.
