I got to know this dude from his cover of "I'm good". I only just found out he stutters and if anything, it only just skyrocketed my respect for him. We all carry our own "baggage", and for him to reach the point of tears means he is carrying something too heavy. Carrying something heavy makes you strong, physically and emotionally. He is a strong man, an example we should all follow
I'm a hospital kid, over 20 something surgeries, a cleft lip and had a stutter my whole life. I play guitar, write songs, still think my voice sounds like a dying cats though. Had no idea you stuttered too, and the fact that we share the neurological pattern of music freeing us from that limitation...it means a lot.

Alec, I completely understand this. I've stuttered for as long as I can remember. I was bullied for it. It made me shy, vulnerable, and it held me back. It's frustrating when you can't get the words out. I came to a point in my life that I just didn't care anymore what people thought of me, me and my stutter. This is who I am. Stutter and all. Some days are better than others. Some words are easier than others to get out, but at the end of the day, this is who I am. And I am worthy, I am enough just how I am. You are too.❤ It may not be convenient to live with a stutter, but it makes you different. It makes you memorable. It makes you you. That in itself, can be pretty great. Embrace it. Challenge it. It’s not even apparent that you have a stutter when you sing and this was the first time I’ve heard it or even heard you speak in a conversational tone and it’s okay. You inspire so many people. I’ve had a speech impediment since I was three years old so I totally understand where you’re coming from. Keep writing your harmonies and melodies to your covers because they sound amazing! This video made me cry! I can't imagine what it must feel like to go through something like that. I have a problem too. Idk what do you call it. Like when speaking some of my words come out jumbled and honestly it has affected me a lot. I feel ashamed to talk to people. I used to love hosting and giving speeches, things like that at school but this has made me lose all those opportunities. I feel scared that i might stutter or jumble my words in front the whole school and being an introvert on top of that doesn't really help either.

As a late on set stutterer (happened suddenly at 12 never had it early child hood) it can be daunting growing into adulthood and being unable to always consistently maintain fluency but even I couldn’t tell you stuttered. It definitely does not define who you are keep being amazing. Ps: for some reason changing your accent suppresses the effect similar to singing. The science behind it is still needed

I feel you. I've stuttered since 2nd grade. Obviously because of it, presentations have never been something im good at and those stuff like phonecalls or the usual quick convo you have at the local supermarket. But it's definitely held me back from speaking to girls which sucks. However, I'm 24 now, and my speech has gotten a lot better, more confidence, and I am happy with who I am and proud. Just got 84% for a group Presentation oral last week, so im super chuffed about that 😌🙌 Keep your head held high and never shy away from being you + i love your voice when you sing. ❤🤙
I have a language disorder, it’s similar to stuttering but different in a way! Music is the best thing for me to overcome it :) I’ll be performing live next year, and make videos soon just working on my vocals
As someone with a stutter as well, I also tend to ignore calls and avoid ordering food in person. Also at my jobs when someone asks for my name I point at my badge and give a thumbs up. It is getting better though and I’m sorry if others call you out on it and talk negatively. You don’t deserve that, you will always have my support and others as well. It will get better 👍
Also btw I have been watching some of your vids and tik toks and noticed that your stutter is becoming less and less noticeable. Good job. I also think it’s caused by your anxiety, I don’t see your stuttering as an issue btw. Keep up the good work.
Don't know how to say it but there are people out there that find stuttering extremely attractive , and its not just the fact that someone has a stutter its more in the sense that how lovely and insecure a person has become just because they have a little stutter which is a very minor quirk . . .
