Mr. Bergersen is one of those composers who create music for the world, for "universe". For the sake of the sheer meaning what life itself is and what it actually represents: two things many of us do not think about that much. His music is not meant to be profitable, it is not meant to tell any message other than what we, listeners, formulate ourselves. It is meant to help question what is around us. You know, the feeling that suddenly occurs when you say something in your mind what makes you literally burst in tears, and you tell yourself "That is what really makes me happy, oh wow..."? Tomas Bergersen's music leads its listener exactly to these private moments of truth. It helps to unfold beauty behind the consumption-polluted phenomenon of life. I guess, that is what music was meant to be at the very beginning? To appreciate a fine thing and to contribute to overall beautiful picture? Anyway, great job, Mr. Bergersen! Thank You for making our lives, and my life in particular, a little bit more worth experiencing.
I suddenly forgot to breathe... This track is just so stunning, there is just so much emotion poured into it... Wow. I am really crying. It was named appropriately.
I think "unique" is totally the right word for this track, in fact, it's so breathtaking that I can't find any word to describe it rightly, so " unique" is alright.
Song **LYRICS** for you songbirds starting at 1:54: Se en e-ya~ ye~ se~ no~ Ah~ glis~ do~ len~ Sner ye wa~ ni s-ye d-ye Ah na sve~ ni~ yo~ Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) Sai ye-ya (sai ye-ya) Som ba-ya (som ba-ya) So ye-ya (so ye-ya) Deso ya (deso ya) Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) Som ba-ya (som ba-ya) Deso ya (deso ya) Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) So ye-ya (so ye-ya) Oh se-ya (oh se-ya) So ye-ya~ (Vocals) Sne re ah~ gli~ so~ vi~ Ah na s-ye~ di~ yo~ The tildes indicate sustained vocal length. Granted, these lyrics are merely phonetic, but I use them to increase my vocal range. Hope these lyrics are helpful to you too. Check out the lower pitch version here, for you folks trying to increase your lower range. Still quite challenging. That version is too slow, so I recommend listening at x1.25 speed. ua-cam.com/video/52L2JSsh20U/v-deo.html Or check out my karaoke version of low pitch here. Eerily beautiful. ua-cam.com/video/wub5lvYST-s/v-deo.html
In 2023 I discover this masterpiece. OH my god... If entire album is like this, I dont have any questions. One of the best songs I ever heard. in 3:00 I cried, like in title. Amazing feeling.
Silent tears that grew each day, That all will find their word to say. None could see or what to feel, Of light and stars that quite so real. From cosmic threads, we are, but dust, Of countless thrones the stars we trust. Such wondrous hold we dear so cold, By the light's inevitable, old.
Aksel Reeves Poems have order...poems make sense, either emotional or literal. They don't just throw a bunch of words together that happen to rhyme. That would be like me going "Fred lead red to the ped of the bed and ate another fred in the dread red bed." and then trying to pull it off like a big inspiring poem like this crack is.
Se en e-ya~ ye~ se~ no~ Ah~ glis~ do~ len~ Sner ye wa~ ni s-ye d-ye Ah na sve~ ni~ yo~ Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) Sai ye-ya (sai ye-ya) Som ba-ya (som ba-ya) So ye-ya (so ye-ya) Deso ya (deso ya) Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) Som ba-ya (som ba-ya) Deso ya (deso ya) Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) Aye ye-ya (aye ye-ya) So ye-ya (so ye-ya) Oh se-ya (oh se-ya) So ye-ya~ (Vocals) Sne re ah~ gli~ so~ vi~ Ah na s-ye~ di~ yo~
Thomas Bergersen, your breathtaking pieces were the magic missing within my life... thank you so much for bestowing such beauty upon us all, that opens doors to other realms unimaginable
There's so much depth here. I feel like there's enough familiarity that one doesn't get lost in the changes, but enough creativity that one is constantly hearing unexpected progressions in either the orchestration or the chords and voicing, and it leaves the listener with nothing to say other than "Whoa! That was awesome!" :)
Love (light) and death (darkness) are the two major themes of all great stories. Mr. Bergersen's music let's you climb the heights and plunge to the depths of both, unlocking your imagination to see different things in his music without saying a word.
I cry tears of joy for the sheer beauty of this piece..... the melody, it's development and complete performance is absolutely stunning, breathtaking and catches your heart.
Majestic! The start intimidates me but at 0:28 it's great. I keep wondering how a person can compose such beautiful songs for me are masterpieces. Master Bergersen makes me feel good. Thank you. Greetings from Italy.
maaaaan, i wish i'd never listened to this before so i could listen to it for the first time again, i lost count on how many times i've played this lol
Tears... Immediate... Outstandingly amazing music! So sad, powerful, brings all emotions inside out! Great work! Instruments, vocals -- everything serves the purpose of delivering the message of desperate struggle going on in the minds that refuse to accept the violent cruel unjust reality which we have to face. Best wishes from Ukraine!
I know this might sound weird because listening to this at full volume is a powerful experience. But, if you are interested in hearing the finest details happening at 3:00, turn the volume down to around 15-25%. You can then clearly hear the violins and the vocal soloist. (In headphones) Such a moving piece here.
1:57 the vocal part is without any doubt from classical music, probably from Mozart Requiem’s Lacrimosa, which means “weepy”. That’s clearly linked to the song’s title (cry, weepy). This song is very good, however it owes part of its cathartic power to the great masters of the 18th century.
That's very observant!! I guess all truly amazing songs copy masterpieces to some extent. Songwriting seemed so difficult for me, since i just ended up putting bits of copied melodies together. Prob no such thing as an original song, lol!
Every time I listen to this, I always picture some dramatic scene of betrayal between two people who thought they were close. Like the height of the music is when you see the devastation in the person's eyes when it happens. Don't know why though.
I picture a rebellion or a protest, some act of desperate defiance against a stronger power. Barricades on the street, people facing down riot police. But when the music swells it could be the moment when the uprising is crushed... It's so damn cool the way this kind of music writes stories in your mind for you.
Just bought the album to support Thomas... The quality is actually much better in my opinion, and I love every song so much. I can't wait until they release Cassandra! It has as much emotion and power as all of the other songs, and I must say there isn't a single song in this album that has disappointed me at all! I Love You Forever, Two Steps From Hell.
I absolutely love this piece. It's one of my favourites by Thomas Bergersen. The first part kinda reminds me of "La Serenissima" by Rondo Veneziano- I don't even know why, because it's a completely different style of orchestral music and a totally different song.
Listening to this while writing my newest story. It fits PERFECTLY with the scene! Haunting and epic, BRILLIANT! Thanks Thomas and TSFH for making awesome and inspiring music! :-D
TSFH is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I am not going to lie.
not just to you.. to the world
Barbara Kareis you are not alone...
+Meow Mason I feel you. Same here. I cried the whole way through the Miracles album. So beautiful.
+Emily Mason Same here! :)
it's not one of the best things, it's THE ONLY BEST THING!!!
Finally found the song that’s been stuck in my head for the past 4 years. 😭
But it's a fine tune to get stuck with 😊
Same. Not 4 years, but the song has been stuck in my head for days.
Where did you listen to? Before...
It sucks when that happens... I'm in the pursuit of a song in my head as well..
Frr
The whole first minute is a work of art .
Powerful and haunting. It feels more like a cry of anger and defiance than a cry of anguish.
Exactly.
Yes
When I listen to this my dark past just keeps flashing on my mind
A theme for underdogs standing against tyranny in a sci-fi or fantasy world. Perfect for it.
It is...
I think
Не перестаю восхищаться этой музыкой ...😇
The most powerful movement I have ever heard
This is, the music of the struggle.

finally. someone. said. it.
thank you..
you put my thoughts into words. Thank you.
It is what music should be. Thomas Bergensen, Nick Phoenix, John Williams and Kojo Kondo are my four favorite composers, by a landslide.
Thomas Bergersen is really awesome, but "Everdream" is composed by Cesc Vilà
Thank you i couldnt have said it better myself💯
I suddenly forgot to breathe... This track is just so stunning, there is just so much emotion poured into it... Wow. I am really crying. It was named appropriately.
same, there were tears. wow
me too
Ttyttt
Amore ❤love strikes me dead
Soul story
This is by far my favourite and that says something, because every piece of music Thomas makes is a masterpiece
4 minutes of heaven for the ears.
Honestly, this track is unique, and should have more views than others from that album.
I think "unique" is totally the right word for this track, in fact, it's so breathtaking that I can't find any word to describe it rightly, so " unique" is alright.
agreed
When you are in a depressive state, this is the perfect enviromental music the situation requires. I feel like I'm in the tragic part of the movie.
I thank God for creating you, what a magnificent spirit you have.

the spiderman-themed violins are epic ngl
That is where a turn-around would be, where the brains of a group would get his victory after being so underestimated.
Shivers ... shivers ... and shivers .... This is absolute perfection ro my ears and soul.

Unreal.....amazing composition
This is the sound of awesomeness. Simply amazing
Thomas Bergersen is literally the best composer right next to Hans Zimmer.
Agreed. You should also check out some Lisle Moore
better
I suggest a Bergersen/Zimmer collaboration!
Michael Garrison omg I love them both. Time is such a good Zimmer track and those two should definitely collab
Maybe better than Hans Zimmer I'd say
Wow!! Really really amazing is the sensation that this song conveys!!
Не припомню, чтоб какой-то другой трек так сильно и надолго цеплял меня когда нибудь!!! На мой взгляд, это лучшее у Томаса Бергерсена!!!
maaaaan, i wish i'd never listened to this before so i could listen to it for the first time again, i lost count on how many times i've played this lol
Mr. Bergersen is a great, pure talent.
I keep wondering how he composes this beautiful music.

One of the best songs, along with Fearless. I like that bulgarian choir very much. Please use it more often in your songs!
Bergensen's best one.
3:00 always gives me the chills man! Pure awesomeness!! 😭😭
This is my favorite song from the album! So amazing, keep it up!
This track is stunning and I can't stop listening to it. Chord progression is amazing. Music from another planet.

Got halfway through the song and my UA-cam app crashed... Thomas Bergersen is too epic for Google to handle!
This one is so amazing
Ok, I know that we could praise this man's music all day but can we talk about how perfect the titles are?
Try to combine the title with a scene from the game Detroit: Become Human - then you will cry 😢
Thank you Thomas!
The synthesiser in the background sounds like from the Tenet soundtrack only that Thomas Bergersen was 5 years earlier in using it!
Goosebumps!....
Zero dislikes. Good.
I hope trolls dont read that... :(
Now you mentioned that, there's three now.
Damn.
Grant Kendrall not just 3, one more joined 'em
DarknessBringer and 1 more now :(

Everyone who listens to this song imagine a story in their minds. The ones that denies are lying.
Oooo this is different from all of the compositions I've heard recently. I love the tech sounds mixed with strings and vocals. 😍
