Tatiana has frequently credited Otep as being the band that inspired hear to learn the harsh vocals. She was blown away by the fact the vocalist was a female, and she took that and ran with it.
Since the King of Everything album (2016) they use drop A, before that they used drop C. No one here is going to "scream" in the comments that it's fry screaming, we all agree that no one knows for sure what technique Tatiana uses. 😄
Expert, yes...trained, no. Tati has practiced a lot, but has no formal training on how to do it. She doesn't even have vocal warm-ups or really takes care of her voice, she just kinda does it like magic.
They should record Tati growling at the Russian troops. Then play it loud at night on the front lines.🤬It might send them running home to their mothers.🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻😥
Well, there are some recommendations I`d make: You might like"I speak Astronomy", Tatiana`s only lovesong - well, kind of..., "Just another" when you really had a bad day (both the studio version), to hear her doing magic with her voice in a closer look: "Judgement and Punishment" (vocal one-take), if you feel rebellious try out "No Hoard of Value", if you`re angy "Sit, stay, roll over", if you like to beat up stupid idiots try "Ape", if you are even angrier "The Proficy" (all studio verson), for live songs try out "On the Top" also from Kiev, to see the beginnings try out a raw diamond: "Exposed as a Liar" and...and... Actually you really can`t go wrong, but that you`ll find out eventually anyway...
