I love how there's the gorgeous rich dark brown and forest green colour palette in the 40s. and then the visually pleasing brown and tan colour palette in the 10s, and then modern day is just BEIGE. I heard interiors are plain beige or white so that homeowners can freely customize a blank canvas, but it's hard to own a home outright and not rent nowadays, and some landlords are against you painting the walls, thankfully it seems to generally be the case that you can, as long as you paint it back to it's original state before leaving. It just seems a bit sad that design has generally gone so downhill. :/
Is this movie on your watchlist?
