@IpodRapper: Yep, I have a Maya44USB using VDJ and I got it to work with old school Pioneer CDJ-700S players. These CDJ's are not designed for scratching at all; however, the operations using the Maya card and VDJ exactly emulate the same as if I had a CD in the deck. So to answer your question, the Maya card works as it should. I'm about to change the setup to turntables as shown here with Serato timecodes very soon. Good luck and hope this helps. ;)
ah question, can you output the sound from the computer? I have logitech speakers (z623), and wondering if you can output mixer straight into the RCA aux in at the back of the sub? Or just output from computer?
monogul please help me i have the same turntables as you but a diffrent mixer. My mixer is the dv2 usb mixer and its compact with virtual dj. im just confused cuz i dont know how to connect it all
Dj Taskmaster Well i was curious about it because my friend has an amazing set of numark belt driven turntables, pratically never used and wanted to try deejaying.
I've got technics 1210s as ive been mixing for 15 years ish. im wanting to change to time coding but have no idea what the hell to buy or anything. not touched my decks for around oh 5 years so really existed to upgrade my stuff to basically cdjs.
I have a Traktor Kontrol S4 and I just bought this soundcard cuz the S4's is shit, but the S4 has 4 decks.... and here you use all the plugs to do 2 decks. and i cant get the whole fucking thing working properly cuz i dont know where all the god damn cords go
It's not even about respect, it's about the feeling of spinning music. Using a Sync button is just cheating in my opinion, the skill of DJing is mixing records by ear and feeling, not with a button that does it for you.
You should really practice beatmatching without the sync button. It's a really good skill to learn. I've been teaching myself this even though I started out with a sync button. Trust me, you earn lot's more respect if you can do it by ear.
Is this supposed to be helpful. "You put this wire into the left side of teh mixer and this wire into the right side of the mixer" Do we all have the same mixers all of a sudden. Why did you even put this video up. Its just you setting your stuff up and mumbeling to yourself.
wait ....why the fuck wud u buy turntables and serato and then use virtual dj?!?! That, my friend, makes 0 sense....not tryna hate jus virtual dj? comeoooonnnn
Bro you just saved my life and my pockets!!!!
You actually have exactly the same setup as me. Good shit.
thank you!!!! i have been look for a video that shows how the whole sound card thing works and finnalllly i found you! i understand now
