- Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Romford located on the Great Eastern Main Line where services are seen by Greater Anglia, TfL Rail and London Overground.
Romford is a very industrial looking station with the scenery around it being buildings and just a lot of hills, roads and cars. This station and place is just on the outskirts of London and a lot of stations like this will have similar surroundings. Romford had a brilliant amount of passing trains with Greater Anglia also stopping and a nice mix of TfL traction to go alongside it all. A lot was seen here overall and it was very entertaining! This is one very fine station and I would recommend it!
Next Trains At: Trains at Shenfield, GEML
Next Train Sim Journeys: Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central

Great video Kieran!! For tha answer, it could be the Stourbridge shuttle or the Waterloo and City line (Except from Sundays.)
School holidays , 1952 at Romford Station , Essex . The steam hauled Upminster branch , the coal yard , brewery and the market . Memories always enjoyed , still .
Sounds like some fond memories were made here.
This station is a nice one to go to (until those damn 745s and 720s take over) I love the sound of 321s and 315s. Subscribed now
Thanks for subscribing. Yes I agree, it's a fab station.
Another thing at 13:24 321s do go up to Norwich sometimes but GA use 12 car sets more which is strange as the was 8
@@alisonrawlings6679 After the introduction of the Norwich in 90 services there were a few Norwich runs booked for 8-car 321s because there weren’t enough 90 sets to cover the new services. The only booked 12-car to Norwich is the 17:02 off Liverpool Street which returns as the 19:30 off Norwich.
Great video KTV, Paddington- Reasing is every ten mins or so.
Great video loved the freight and the passers keep it up
Thanks bud!
If you go to Romford in the evening peak, you're really in for a treat. Almost none of the Greater Anglias stop and they come every couple of minutes, mostly 8 and 12 car 321s
That's crazy haha. How do they have enough 321s to cover that, mad stuff lol.
@@KTVTransport it's really quite something. I've done it twice myself.
You're 100% correct, 12 coach trains are too long to stop at Romford and during the rush hour trains on the Greater Anglia mainline run a couple of minutes apart.
Awesome Video Bud :) Cross City Line
Thanks Rob! Yes correct.
Great video nice to see lots of variety!👍
Thank you!
Nice video I’m going there tomorrow but not on the train
Great video
Stourbridge town branch,Snow Hill Lines,The Tube,Overground,Trams,DLR,Thameslink core,Hackney Central-Liverpool Street,Birmingham New Street-Wolverhampton/Walsall,Stockport to Piccadilly,trams,Glasgow Central/High Street-Partick,Edinburgh-Haymarket,Piccadilly-Victoria/Trafford/Salford,Kings Cross to Hitchin,St Pancras-Bedford,Euston-Rugby,Victoria/Waterloo-Clapham Junction,London Bridge/Victoria-South Croydon and finally Paddington-Reading
Very nice trainspotting video at Romford I would love to do Spotting there again but last time there was issues with security
It wasn't an issue when I went so you should be OK. Glad you enjoyed the video.
@@KTVTransport hopefully there's none next time I go there but Yh great video
great video i remember when i went there and done some recording for my other channel :)
Thank you! Nice one.
KTV Videos hi
KTV Videos I like you video
Birmingham Snow Hill - Stourbridge! Most trains are every 10 minutes
I'll give you that one, it's roundabout that.
I’m not sure if Wrexham General To Wrexham Central Is Every 10 Minutes
That one isn't bud.
The Waterloo And City Line is always closed on Sundays
Erm what's that got to do with the video lol.
@@KTVTransport I was just letting you know
Sorry
stourbridge shuttle is every 10 minutes
Correct indeed bud!
Why does the class 321 have to have loads of different types of liverys for just 1 company?like why can't they just have the same livery for the 1 company
Because they got the units from various different TOCs and some liveries are from different periods of Greater Anglia's lifespan. It's likely too expensive to re-livery them all seeing as they don't have a future with them.
Stourbridge Jct to Stourbridge Town is every 10 mins
Correct indeed!
@@KTVTransport Also great video. I love the #PurpleTrain
Have you seen the seats. They are ROCKS no joke
@@alisonrawlings6679 i have travelled on that line and did think they were a bit uncomfortable
