- Bever, Engadin, Switzerland: visiting the stunning valley where Hannah spent a lot of time growing up.
Join us as we go on a day trip from St Moritz to the glorious Bever Valley. We started the day in Bever town and made our way along the trail up the valley. We got a lovely view of the town before heading past a beekeeper and stopping for a tasty packed lunch by the river. We then made our way along the so-called Fairytale Trail due to the wooden carvings by artists related to different fairytales. As we made our way back along the river to Bever, we became friends with local cows and horses, before finishing up with a beer in town!

We go to the Spinas restaurant a few times a year, just because we feel so at home in the Engadina. We usually take the bikes, do the 15 km from out home, have dinner on the porch of the Spinas, then ride the bikes back and relax. Not a bad life!

Very nice vlog Loz, with some really lovely shots. Are you still using your zooming cam for zoomy shots or are you zooming with the normal Sony vlogging cam you use? I'm not finding my interchangable lenses situ the best and I'm wondering if I should go back to separate cameras for zoom and wide angle - it's because it's awkward, time consuming and not always possible to change lenses in time to get shots, especially if I'm with other people and don't want to hold them up while I keep stopping to change lenses. I have a Sony Handycam but it's not quite right.
Thanks, Imo! Still using my camera with a much longer zoom. It falls apart in low light but as long as the light is ok it definitely does the trick. I can imagine it's frustrating with the interchangeable lens - plus you don't really want to have to be swapping much when you're out and about as there's always the risk with the exposed sensor! I know quite a few people who have two interchangeable lens cameras, one with a wide angle for normal vloggy shots and then another for more cinematic shots... but that's a lot of gear, expense, and effort! How often do you need the longer zoom? Have you considered a little point and shoot for it?
How do I get from St Moritz train station to the starting point of your visit to Bever Valley?
There's a train station in Bever, I think it's only 2-3 stops on the train so that would probably be the best option! We just drove as Hannah's grandparents kindly gave us a lift 😁 hope you have a great time!

We drove there with Hannah’s grandparents but you can also get the train - I think it’s just three stops 🚞
Like in others of your videos the camera is extremely restless.
