As tight a band as they’ve ever been. A testament to focus, commitment, raw perennial talent and the need to dream. For themselves and for their fans. EASILY the Best Band on Earth, 30 years running.
Great to hear them back on form with this album , to me it stands up with their 90's material, and they sound far better live than back then too. Smashing songs on this album, love it.
Remember that band the Longpigs...this song when he does that 'she lee eads me on' going to the upper register in the middle of "leads" sounds like one of their songs....and that is a compliment because to be honest I liked their album The Sun's Often Out even better than Suede's eponymous album, though loved both records. I like the new Suede songs...sound like Suede again.
I've heard many commentators and Britpop fans notice that Suede weren't too big on gigs back in the day. I guess they decided to make up for that after their comeback, which they are doing in spades. Nevertheless, Brett needs his rest. His high notes, which are honestly not that necessary for the tunes to remain amazing, sound as if they are causing him pain. Otherwise a proper performance, their new record is a class act.
I love that you picked up on the "Crushed Kid"reference on the drum-kit too +I would also like that on a t-shirt!-the awesome Suede could be onto something here!-seeing that compelled me to look up "Crystal" by New Order as of course that's where The Killers nabbed their name from via the 🥁 kit in the video!
I really love this band! Wonder Brett is so amazing, brilliant, talented, superb, wonderful, handsome, beautyful, elegant, fancy… best man in the world! I love him and I can’t wait for 5 and 6 seeing him at Electric ballroom!!! Coming from Sicily just to attend at these glorious days!❤️
Disagree. It has changed to better. Now it has DEPTH. I like their previous four albums much more than what they did in the 90's. It is true that he sometimes now struggles with their older songs, but he nails everything else and i am a fan of their latest four albums. Don't care that much of the 90's stuff.
Bizarre. I think there are some really wonderful, memorable, beautiful, at times sinister, lyrics on Autofication. Evocative. "I loved her with my last breath, and I loved her with a love that's as strong as death", "Is it wrong to love you, as much as I do? Is it wrong to do the things we've done? You witness our confession, an execution, you walk us to the rope and watch us drop", "15 again, oh what a wasted life, we are stained in our hearts.", "I'm not the kind of person, who never feels uncertain. So many ways to do what I do wrong. My love has many faces, secret vicious places", "I pretend I don't adore you, but I'd take a bullet for you, yes it's a sweet and bitter love", "He speaks of love and power, and all those pretty things, you know the voice that flatters you, is not the voice that sings", "I saw your faces in the break light, and I drove myself home. How low, how low can I go? How low, how low can I go, honey?", "We're on the black ice, with no headlights, with our hands off the wheel and I say 'take your hands off the wheel and let's go'. Because life without danger is no life, because all love is pain", "Close the curtains, dim the lights, don't be offended, by a fight tonight. We track the motion, of body and space, she is the centre, of our rage. 'Shut up' she said, 'I don't want nobody. I'll dance with my shadow self", "Pretty petrol eyes, keep our shadows locked up here inside. Write the letters you will never send. Oh they stay in shadows, all the heart-breakers, oh they stay in shadows, all the trouble-makers. Don't show that you're hurt, you won't be the first, to hide the bruises there under your shirt", "There by the mirror, watching you watch me, counting the ways, that you own me. The touch of the glass. Oh the moment it splinters. Nothing now can touch us. What am I, what am I without you?, I'm nothing without you, so let love burn", "Reveal yourself in your complex ways, reveal yourself on a so-so Monday, it's all the same. Come on now and reveal yourself and I'll bend to you." They've just come up with their most beloved and successful album since Coming Up, and you think they should 'call it a day'? Insane.
His voice cracks a bit on this performance but I have seen many live performances where his voice shines, this band is definitely not done! More hit songs coming in their Future! ❤
''She still leads me on'' a new classic
Recorded in 90’s
total
Amazing tune❤
@@ideas8 It came out on their 2022 album Autofiction.
@@xfoolsgoldx I know it looks like a 90’s hit! :)
What the hell is this????😮😮😮 They sound better than ever. The new songs are outstanding and "Trash" sounds just... 😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's warming to see Suede and Manics releasing music as if their life depended on it.
Outstanding. Fuoriclasse!!
Saw them in Aberdeen 2023, they did not disappoint.
I love this band so much it’s my mission in life to meet them someday and just tell them thank you
They sound great! Neil is the planet's most nonchalant rock musician, with Simon a close second. Great juxtaposition with Brett. So cool.
Good band.
15 Again sounds great!
Great that they're still playing Can't Get Enough. Still sounds super fresh today.
Loved Head Music
All this new Suede songs fit Brett's voice amazingly, She Still Leads Me On is a really beautiful song
Brett's voice has matured very well.
I'm embarrassed as an original suede fan that I stopped believing. Best they've ever been.
So moved by that first song, beautiful, no band can move me like Suede.
I've been listening to Suede since I was 12yrs old in the mid 90's. Coming Up is my favourite album! 😊 🎸
Tickets are pricey but no way am I’m missing these guys. #noregrets
Wow, the guitars are incredibly well recorded for a mere radio session
The sitortion in Brett's voice on She Leads Me on is amazing.
Absolutely brilliant. They haven’t still got it; they’ve ALWAYS had it! Superb ❤ Shivers during Trash … YOU and ME !
so raw energetic and real Brett just gets better
Fantastic album 'Autofiction', brilliant live act as well.
Wonderfull. What a special band!
I love them so much.
Show in Toronto was insanely awesome.
Rock and roll never die... escuchando a Suede desde Lima Perú✌️
As tight a band as they’ve ever been. A testament to focus, commitment, raw perennial talent and the need to dream. For themselves and for their fans.
EASILY the Best Band on Earth, 30 years running.
Suede is playing another master piece. Brett is a good wine. So sexy!
Am I crazy if I think that these guitars sounds like Heaven?!?
Spain ❤️
They get just better and better.
I adore autofiction a lot!))
Those new songs are beautiful. Still love them after all these years.
Great performance. Dog man star > the blue hour > suede > autofiction. Like the other albums a lot too but think those are my top 4
Unlike some singers of that era he still got his voice

That is such an excellent performance of She Still Leads Me On.
One word :- Awesome!
Absolute cool
I just wanna say I cant stop smiling (and sing along) while watching this video..they are just so mesmerizing..ugh I love them so much
15 Again is a hit.
muy buena performance
Amo amo amo a suede....
I just love these guys and their music!
Não consigo parar de ouvir esse álbum.
Eu também cara! O melhor álbum de 2022.
This is gold! Just absolutely love Suede!!
It’s oh so good to hear TRASH again !
I think this is honestly the best band today. What a career.
Please come to Mexico!!!
Brett still got it. All hail suede!!
The best !
Fucking hell! That’s crazy amazing
They still got it💪🍺🍺
🤘Great!!!!
Legends
Brett is 🔥🔥🔥
My love!
Magnifique 🔝🔝🔝❤️❤️❤️
Love you Neil
That man always looks like he is being forced to play with his mates. He might be a great musician but he looks like he has no interested in playing.

Wrong. He’s being loose. It’s fucking brilliant
I would LOVE to hear KOL cover this.
Great work lads x
Ga ada lawan 👐
Sounding great. Roll on Electric Ballroom😊
Ello from the Philippines!
Please come to México!!!
On She Still Leads Me On.
"Is the guitar loud enough for you Richard?"
"No"
The guitars on Can't Get Enough sound better than the album version. Great recording and mix by Absolute Radio.
Fantastic! Made my day ❤️
People: When do you love Neil the most?
Me: 4:06 4:16
Brett is a body double for Dutch football manager Philip Cocu.
Good rock like the British know how to do
I'd like a Crushed Kid T-shirt! :0)
Me too! That would actually be so cool!
@@quentinlynch I might get in touch with them and ask if they would print some. Stay tuned! :0)
@@williamr3840 Amazing! :)

Ironically I felt 15 again listening to that version of Trash
Haha they're still playing "Can't get enough" such a goofy tune, rocks though.
I wonder why he didn’t sing the lyric “With a dangerous mind” in “She still leads me on”?
From Indonesia
Verse parts are reminiscent of Interpol.
Like
Neil didnt change a bit lol
What happened to Bernard Butler?
He left Suede more than 28 years ago and has since enjoyed success with millions of bands and as a solo artist and producer.
She still leads me on is a good song. I thought Trash sounded muddy in this arangement, the rhythym guitar wasnt sounding good at all.
Looks like Neil Codling is bored out of his mind again. That guy is such a waste of air.
The rest of the band is great, as always!
Keyboard guy looks a bit bored.
It's been his attitude since 1996, check their videos from that time, hahaha...
What do you expect? He's the key bored guy.
@@markw8825 🤣

Brasil❤️👏
Esse disco é muito bom, o melhor de 2022.
I love Suede, but Anderson's voice is totally gone. The lyrics of the new album are really poor. I think they should call it a day.
