I have never driven with a controller. However, I operate the throttle and brake at the same time. You should practice that.😉🙏

Like he said, play gently with the throttle and brake, but I also wanna add the Handbrake/E-brake button. Sincr you use a controller, a tap-tap on the Handbrake button while slowing down will do just fine. Once you near the corner, hold the Handbrake, turn, full accelerate then release the button.
