Like it or not, but this guy Axl ROCKS! He's got three times everything a true rock star should have - and a lotta controversy of course! But, what a charismatic man, what a character! You just can't deny it.
See, I'm so glad you brought this up. People like to forget that Axl had a depressive sickness, and that played a BIG BIG ROLE in Axl's Lateness and Mood swings. But those episodes were not what Axl was like most of the time. The media has taken a few incidences and overplayed them, and misinterpreted them, and have spread too much negativity against Axl! And People should learn to HATE THE DISEASE, NOT THE PERSON. Axl Rose is really a SWEETHEART!
The fan was actually taunting him, the shirt part was to demonstrate how serious he was. Still though, it was a dick move. I wont defend Axl Rose for his actions
+nelsonr12 Other than ending a show in England after a STUPID BASTARD threw a coin at him during "Nightrain" and stopping for several minutes after bottles were thrown at the band in Ireland.
A moment of admirable and genuine humanity, concern and professionalism. How much more Jeckyll and Hyde can this guy get?? He does have chronic depression, but that cannot account for all of his bizarreness. A modern-day eccentric would probably sum him up best.
Slash has said in a recent interview about Axl 'The proximity of unnatural chemistry evaluated by chronically simplified attitude led to the bestowing of deranged as well as copacetic creation of tension between two subhuman genders of symptomatic chronometer of hate.' - source : WiKi
No, he said "take it from the bridge". If you'd have ANY music knowledge, you'd know that "bridge" is a part od a song (not this particular song, but for every song in general).
It's all part of the interactive show that is rock & roll. My experience wouldn't be the same as Axl Rose's, but kids are kids. I played in a punk band from the time I was 16 .... when I wasn't in jail ..... and we still get together on occasion for "reunion" shows, and the atmosphere has always been chaotic. Kids helped me smash guitars, threw beer at us (refreshing!), jumped on stage and tackled me, picked me up and carried me on their shoulders. Kids who LIKED us were the most aggressive.
@@apoet-om1wg I didn't tell you how I felt. I described a reality of a chaotic scene. I've been around death all my life, enough of it to break me. You're replying to an 11 year old comment. I was JUST getting online after being in prison for 53 months off a 58 month sentence, the first ~3 years of that in max security facilities where I saw enough blood for several lifetimes of nightmares. I was even forced to spill some in order to protect myself and a friend. Maybe you read that as flippant, text has no tone of voice to it, but I was simply making a couple observations. You have no idea how I FEEL about ANYTHING. It's taken 10 years of work to be able to FEEL at all.
@@AdamRainStopper Yeah, sorry, i read it as flippant, as glorifying violence in a RN'R concert. I'm glad that the violence in Guns N' Roses shows has stopped.
@@apoet-om1wg Nothing to apologize about, I was only trying to clarify that one thing. There's a certain risk associated with what we had to do if we even wanted to *have* a show, because regular above-board club would have us by the time I was old enough to go to shows. I saw some shit. We tried to take care of each other and keep medical supplies around, but sometimes hospital visits were required. As far as I know, nobody was killed.
That was really cool.... Some security guys get to excited and rough up some fans... All they wanna do is have some fun and hear their band play !!!... Good job Axl !!!
Yes that's true but in this case it was the security that over stepped it and Axl threw the security guards out. He can't have anybody getting hurt because a security guard decides that it's appropriate to beat someone up.
Even if the person in the crowd deserves what Axl does, the rest don't. For the sake of the other fans, Axl should just keep going. But he doesn't. He'll just storm off.
the real lesson here is: Never fuck up in a GN'R show or any show where Axl is involved. He will make you pay for it and it doesn't matter who you are or who do you think you are, and that is what we call moral having a moral. I rest my case
Again, that's a big misconception. Those people in the audience WERE NOT FANS. They were hecklers that were only there to start trouble. GANGSTERS that were there trying to intimidate and belittle the band. Not uncommon in rock concerts in those days. Axl only went after them after security failed to do its job. That's what people need to understand, the media has totally misinterpreted Axl, to paint him an 'ass', when he is truly a sweetheart. The truth is starting to come out about Axl now.
By kicking out fans before is not him being an ass. Be aware he has had multiple members of the crowd die from the crowd being out of control at one of the early GNR performances. With this on your conscience and the media blaming the band for the deaths, it is very understandable for Axl to take a more cautious approach.
Axl have change, i think that he is a good person now, if the old axl could be like the new axl maybe some members of the band will still on GnR and GnR turn from most dangerous band to a normal band.
Like it or not, but this guy Axl ROCKS! He's got three times everything a true rock star should have - and a lotta controversy of course! But, what a charismatic man, what a character! You just can't deny it.
that was cool...better than him stopping the band and telling everyone to F-off!!

man how cool would it be to be that fan, just as you thought your night was up the main man helps you out, well done axl
Saw Axl and GNR at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas couple nights ago...he still rocks and is cool as hell.
He just want peace fans and Justice ! don't like violence, I'm agree with him! They're give a show! They're not here to do trouble!!!
Hate the disease, not person. Axl Rose is a Good person.
I didn't see Dave Grohl get this much shit when he did the same thing.
Nunya Buizness exactly. Axl haters are idiots
@@adamgriffith-smith9106 I agree and the Dave grohl haters are too
Only time I've ever seen Axl Rose do something considerate or stop a song for the right reasons
You're the man, Axl!
Man, Its good people are finally starting to recognize Axl as he REALLY IS; A GOOD MAN. Nobody else does things like this for a fan
What an angel. That Axl guy must be the nicest guy in rock n roll
Axl has finally learned that people are there to have fun! It only took him 20 years.
I've watched about five of these 'Stop stop stop the show' videos and this one KICKSASS. He's funny!
Yet at another gig Axl threw a fan out for wearing a Slash T-shirt and demanded that security give the Slash T-shirt to him!
Yes 👊 rock in rio 2011
Axl used to be a solid gold arsehole. He seems to be more mature and reliable these days
Carol Chaves 2001
Nicki Demonia except that it was NEVER PROVEN that it was a slash shirt
The fan was actually taunting him, the shirt part was to demonstrate how serious he was. Still though, it was a dick move. I wont defend Axl Rose for his actions
Axl: doesn't only use his powers for evil.
guard: "I'm so sorry Axl we forgot this is a GNR show, you are who punch the fans, not us, won't happen again"
It's nice to see something good about Mr.Rose for a change.
This dude is like that old movie Sybil. No telling what you're going to get.
deep down he's this truly frendly guy...
ive met axl before hes a real cool guy
after speaking to him he really does care about his privacy
This probably the only time hes stopped a show for an actual reason
+nelsonr12 Other than ending a show in England after a STUPID BASTARD threw a coin at him during "Nightrain" and stopping for several minutes after bottles were thrown at the band in Ireland.
Robert Sparling and when duff got hit in the head with a bottle

He has bipolar

That cannot be axl. There's no way axl would stick up for a fan. To him, fans are his enemies.
Axl Rose - the original Showstopper
What a surprise! He defended a fan! Defended! Not hurt! Not shouted at! Defended!
is anyone else doing an axl rose incidents marathon??
00:37 i love how he says
TAKE THEM FROM THE BRIDGE like he was part of the security
No, he said "take it from the bridge". If you'd have ANY music knowledge, you'd know that "bridge" is a part od a song (not this particular song, but for every song in general).
Best thing axl has ever stopped the show for.
Well, Axl was actually defending a fan for once instead of confronting them or arguing with them like he always seems to do.
Axl threw the security away because he's the only one who can beat up his own fans

i miss the Axl Rose that disappeared after 1995
Good to see that Axl can distinguish bad actions from good actions, sometimes... D:
I wish we could see Axl like that more often..
Axl became nice like the grinch
(when axl is not around)...ok we gotta always have one ear listening for a "STOP STOP STOP THE SONG!" at all times...
Axl was one of a kind vocalist, there's no one been like him!! so its ok if he made a little scene
Sebastian Bach did the exact same thing for me 20 years ago. what a night.
That was actually nice I never seen a celebrity do that before!
Axl Deffinition: Stern but fair.
axl is a good man, deep down ... even in the background.
I love you Axl, you're the man
Hence why he drank what, whiskey? and smoked straight after leaving the stage. Because that wont damage your vocal chords in anyway.
Axl Rose: rock n' roll's proverbial daddy.
thats the kinda axl we'd like to see
Yes that's true but in this case it was the security that over stepped it and Axl threw the security guards out.

if he was stopping a fight, he did well .
Wow, this a different Axl than the Axl that kicked a girl in the face for taking his picture.
He defends his fans. Yet, they still want to piss him off by throwing shit.
As Axl Rose, you just can't win.
Im surprised Axl didn't jump off stage like superman and slap someone

@Clanox22 slash doesnt fight, he plays his guitar and everyone just stops and cant move because of the pure awesomeness

The Security guys started the fight
yeah, this is very unusual for axl rose.
at least one person is consistent
Why do people always assume that the people he calls out don't deserve it?
I know, it shocked me too.
security, get these security guys out of here.
I wish we could see this side of Axl more.
That's true. He was defending a fan from being beaten up by security. Really the right thing to do but I don't agree with him stopping mid song.
Axl Rose... Being nice to people? That's just... Wow...
One in a hundred videos, axl wasn't an asshole.
... ten minutes later Axl kicked the shit out of that fan for wearing a slash t-shirt...

this is a whole ne side of axl i like, and what did he say at the end? "take it from the bridge"? lol that was funny
this was in birmingham in 2006 right? My first ever gig!
Gotta love bein' able to throw out the Venue's security.

guys that is the good side be nice 2 it
this is what i love about Axl
I guess he was in a good mood.
When was this?
This is awesome.
He should show this side of him all the time
i remember the incident when Axl jumped on a fan because he or she was recording a concert.
this vid is for those who say that axl only yells at fans!
at least...a worthy cause....
Axl is a good guy after all...
We are not talking about the incident in this clip, but another.
i dont think he likes security. i wonder what he is like at the airport
Axl have change, i think that he is a good person now, if the old axl could be like the new axl maybe some members of the band will still on GnR and GnR turn from most dangerous band to a normal band.
This: Awesome.
Him removing a fan from the show because the guy had a Slash T-shirt; Not cool.
GET THAT GUY AND TAKE THAT!! I'LL TAKE IT GODDAMNIT!!!
...oh wait, wrong show...😂
@LauretteLudicrous Probably because of the 1988 monsters of rock incident, something like that would bug me as well.
When axl say STOP, Everybody STops
NO, I'M NOT. BUT, MAYBE YOU ARE.
I saw a kid get the shit beat out of him beside the stage at Slashes gig recently in Brisbane australia.
Is there actually a concert in which Axl doesn't fight with someone??????????
they werent paying attention during the music .so he had to
10 seconds later... HEY SECURITY COME BACK, KICK THAT GUY OUT!
♥I love you Axl♥
Nah,after they leave Axl jumps in and beats the guy up himself.
This just feels weird.
wow didn't know how nice axel was till i saw this wow....
I love this! ^^
Says the guy that attacked a guy for having camera on a concert
@control202 are you the security guy that axl got out?
Axl's the best, I don't care what the fuck people say about him: best rock frontman in history!!!
