- In this video I want to show you my Electronic Load for DC and AC.
It has some remarkable Features:
Input voltage up to 400V
Load current up to 10A
Power dissipation up to 200W
Remote controllable
Suitable for DC and AC

A very nice electronic load. I've experimented with MOSFETs as AC loads using a micro as the controller but the bandwidth is too low for some of my applications. It is nice to see that yours works well up to 100Hz. I think that to make a high bandwidth load you can only easily do it with resistors but this only works if you want a constant resistance.
Amazing project!!! I will try to make it your way, just that i will replace the MOSFET with a IGBT, cheers.

Great to see an AC electronic load, these are needed in many areas of testing and measurements. Just wondering why your AC current waveform is distorted on your oscilloscope and not in agreement with your simulation?
Strange, indeed - has to be investigated!

Vielen Dank für die Veröffentlichung dieses tollen Projekts. Ich würde mir die Last genau so nachbauen wollen. Darf ich fragen ob evtl. Gerber-Files und BoM zugänglich sind?
Dieses Projekt wird am 1. Juli in der Zeitschrift "Elektor" veröffentlicht. Dort wird auch ein Link auf alle Entwicklungsunterlagen ( Software, Schaltpläne, Layouts, BoMs...) zu finden sein.

Hi admin thankyou for the video but i have a question is there any dc load you know thats programmable with visual studio, i want to integrate the code with my own application in #C.
Any load which is programmable (depends on the load you want to use) can be controlled with visual studio - as long as you know the communication protocol.
